Some of the posters here just reek of middle aged men who have accomplished nothing with their life.

I feel seen.

Feels like the first big, old school blockbuster series of the year with two of the best teams in the AL. Gonna feel like the ALCS.

  • Facing a lefty? We're toast.

Who do you expect? Grant Taylor?

I think there’s something to be said about using a higher leverage guy there with runners on and using Murphy in a later clean inning if you’re low on guys. That’s a higher leverage moment there than starting off the sixth or seventh inning.

Schultz can not start again if you are serious about winning division.

stone might kill Quero tonight

I would really like to know why they won’t give Korey Lee a shot.

You could say Murphy has better numbers this year than Noah, but I'd guess if Noah got hand-picked situations out of the pen like Murphy has he would have better results. Of course in the context of the game going on, sometimes it helps just to change looks. Didn't work tonight.

I'm thinking they might have to demote him to the pen. His stuff would tick up and he wouldn't have to worry about going through the lineup multiple times. Plus he needs his innings limited anyways.

Don't talk about SS2K5 that way. He hasn't even posted in this thread yet.

I don't think he will post in game threads until 2030 (conservatively) when we are competitive again.

I would say that’s true for anyone posting on a baseball message board at 8:25 on a Monday

That's because the drunken Cubs' fans who don't even watch the game and ogle the boobs in the bleachers are inherently wealthier/more successful.

That was the plan even if he did well these next few starts

I would have been okay with sending Noah down after the last start. I think the worst decision is to let him have the start but then pull him extremely early before he gives up any runs. Worst of all worlds.

The inning would still be going on if they did what you wanted.

I actually miss the guy. He was always really consistent here.

Junior Perez hits a home run and then this guy comes up. WTTF.

Why do we just assume Schultz and Hagen would suddenly have control like Luke Littler's dartboard out of the pen?

Give it 25 minutes after you eat that Thai food. Then you'll see a replay of what occurred in the top of the 4th.

It could have been so bad that he would have given up 4 runs or something.

Frustrating game. Get the lead and pizz it away. It is looking all too familiar.

There have been truely awful at bats

Austin Hays was doing very well on his rehab stint, I think they should have brought him up instead of Pereira.

Did they tell us on the broadcast why Fried is out of the game? Yankees just wanted to play fair and not have one side empty their pen in game 1?

Have some good left-handed bats on the bench at least.

More velocity would hopefully mean more swing and miss.

Should have put Ant in here.
