Maybe but since he converted to relief he's been pretty good and can pitch long relief. But with other trades coming you're probably right.

I would assume he is gone once they activate Castillo (and move Schultz to the bullpen?).

Braden scratched...his ankle. Pereira's timing seems to be way off. Maybe Periera and Romo should cut down on their swings and try to go up the middle or Oppo. Get contact and maybe something good will happen.

Maybe the Rays' GM was like, "We're so ready to trade you our best pitcher, and we'll take a package centered around Pereira and Romo. Could you get them a start today so we can make sure they're the guys we want?"

Unfortunately the Rays have already seen enough of Pereira, the Tasmanian Devil, to want him back.

Okay, the joke is that the team we're playing today is being untruthful and asking us to play the lesser players on our roster (so they can win), under the guise of scouting them for a major trade.

I really don't think the Rays would want to give us their best pitcher for Pereira and Romo.
