Agreed, but pass on Doyle then and use Mason Adams in a trade for a rental pitcher.

Do you think it's possible that no one wanted Mason Adams for a rental pitcher that would be worth getting in the slightest? Do you think Getz and the front office doesn't know his value to other teams?

  • People watch Romo bat .100 with no power or walks for months and suddenly you're not happy with a guy who is a little below average at the plate

A kick in the ankle is much better than a kick in the balls. Thank you.

  • We gave up Duncan fucking Davitt who most people here didn't even know he existed prior to the callup. Literally nothing and improved the catching position.. I get you wanna b**** to b**** but at leas

I updated my previous post. There are other guys in your system to trade for a rental. Wolkow for example. The fact that Getz only obtained players with control beyond this year likely indicates that he wasn’t even considering rentals.

Already did that in the offseason. He could reject, and likely would.

Oh well. That’s fine too. No loss

Sox fans had 100% overvalued the value of the 2nd and 3rd tier guys.

Yes, one could definitely question what Getz and the front office thinks about player values considering they just traded for a CF that is older and worse than the outfielders they already had.

I don’t know anything about him. Regardless, even if he wasn’t even included in the trade, Getz seemingly made the roster worse for this year. You still didn’t explain to me why they are better from this series of moves.

The Cubs and Sox are in very different places with who they are willing to give up, and rightfully so.

This is true. I don't believe the Sox long term projection was altered in any way the last few days. Getting Brazobon alone should make them a better team right now.

Wolkow has way too much upside to include him in a trade at this point. He's young, he keeps himself fit, and he works hard.

Well s%*#. As long as he stays in shape.

Did anyone think to check the BMI of the guys we traded away?
