Do you think Getz and the front office doesn't know his value to other teams?

Do you think Getz and the front office doesn't know his value to other teams?I updated my previous post. There are other guys in your system to trade for a rental. Wolkow for example. The fact that Getz only obtained players with control beyond this year likely indicates that he wasn’t even considering rentals.

You still didn’t explain to me why they are better from this series of moves.1 hour ago, PaleAleSox said:The Cubs and Sox are in very different places with who they are willing to give up, and rightfully so.This is true. I don't believe the Sox long term projection was altered in any way the last few days. Getting Brazobon alone should make them a better team right now.
15 hours ago15 hr Wolkow has way too much upside to include him in a trade at this point. He's young, he keeps himself fit, and he works hard.

4 hours ago4 hr If Bart gets most of the playing time, sending Quero down is fine. He can get consistent playing time and work of improvements. Romo shouldn't play more than a couple days a week.
4 hours ago4 hr Rockies have fallen in love with their new CF, Carigg. He's their new golden boy, and he looks good. They needed to get rid of Doyle, who doesn't hit anyway. Getz complied. Adams will improve the pitching staff, which isn't very good, obviously.

2 hours ago2 hr I predict Joey Bart's bat alone will lift the Sox historic low combined offensive output at the catching position in an upward projection.

In other words, that he makes them feel more confident somehow? And although the bat hasn't exactly been on fire, maybe this catcher-to-pitcher rapport takes precedence. Or, maybe that theory is "out in left field?"

Or, maybe that theory is "out in left field?"About a week ago, Romo made a challenge later in the game that looked ridiculous. But the way he made it looked exactly like he was just trying to buy Davis Martin a breather, and I think it's possible he's the most on the same page with his pitchers out of the bunch.

Or, maybe that theory is "out in left field?"Definitely possible. Also, I don't think Romo has options left, and Quero does. Obviously they could have just DFA'd Romo and kept Quero around. In that scenario, though, Bart would still be playing the majority of the games. That would hurt Quero's development.
