Just focusing on those moves, I’d rather have Adams, Vielma, and Pereira over Doyle. 4 hours ago4 hr I think the fact that Periera wasn’t traded for literally anything before the deadline speaks about his value around the league. Im sure a bad team will give him a shot to stick the rest of the year, but fringe hitting corner OF’s that are out of options aren’t easy to keep on a contending team.

There has to be one bad team out there that has room for a 25 year old outfielder with power.I think Getz was trying to move Hays/Pereira and simply ran out of time or no one was that interested in trading for them. 26 minutes ago26 min Center Field defense is key. Pereira could not cover CF. I am not going to panic because Peters has been in a slump. I think he has been over-aggressive, kind of like Colson, and has to make some adjustments. Take a few pitches here and there, learn how to defend the plate with 2 strikes, go oppo or to get a longer look at the pitch, and cut down the swing. Whatever, Sox have a hitting coach. Meanwhile, Peters is a gazelle in the outfield. I don't care about slumps and splits, he has to be out there almost every game.
