Boston, just like the last series against them, is the hottest team in baseball. Their pitching has been incredible and they’re seemingly squaring up anything thrown at them. That’s a tough team to be

By my count, Sox are 14-12 in their last 26. 0-5 vs. Boston, 14-7 vs. everyone else. Would have been nice to have caught them in May or June.

Would be absolutely hilarious if they pull off this game and twins and guardians lose again, and the Sox gain another game after getting smacked around by Boston

Good lord with the challenges

That was real close, but they gotta stop challenging so early in low leverage situations.

Not really sure how Mune missed that 3-2 pitch either.

Mune at a 40.8% K rate right now
Kolson at a 36.3% K rate

Right down the middle

Really??? So you want a guy (Acuna OPS of .555 in 2026) to have his first MLB start in LF at Fenway

I understand Sam's OPS vs lefties but he's not going to get any better hitting them riding the bench.

The same logic applies to Romo, then. Romo must start as much as possible so he can get better.

I believe that we will win. I believe that we will win.

The offense is cheeks right now.

Did they make Castillo chop the locks?

Not that it matters for this game, but I believe they’ve been shut out in 6 of last 8 second games of a series.

That'll do Luis, that'll do.

Good inning. All fastballs so far

They didn’t have very good swings against Castillo, that was encouraging. Last two days have been nothing but rockets

I understand they're going through Growing Pains. I'm still confident theyll win the division.

I asked myself the same thing. It’d be pretty crappy if they did it to a guy they traded for. It’d be one thing if you signed as a FA and knew but would be crappy to enforce it on a trade.

The idea of consistently playing Acuna makes me wanna vomit

He doesn’t really play consistently and has been totally fine in his role the last two months or so.

Yankees do it. Not saying I agree with it but he definitely cut the hair, it was long in Seattle last I saw. Jerry must have given the 👎

Detroit is either going to be 3 1/2 or 4 1/2 back....trying to repeat 2024, CLE had the massive comeback last season

Not have a .511 OPS against lefties

And Acuna’s is .540 yet his name is permanent markered in the lineup against lefties

Edited by Bob Sacamano

Okay, the Bart, the - start us out.

KC and Minnesota about to start, Wacha vs Ober

.555 > .511
