I know I say this every time, but Sam really does start against lefties more often than he sits.

Yeah, I think it’s just recency bias. If you take out these last two when Chase has been hurt, and then look at the last ten games we’ve faced a lefty before that, my guess is that he has sat more than started in those.

But I think he got more starts against them earlier in the year.

Part of me really wants to see Sam and Chase bat 1-2 every night. Chase is basically the prototypical #2 hitter of yesteryear that has gone out of style, Mune does have a better OBP than Chase, but I feel like Chase is so hard to strike out and goes deep into counts that he would really thrive in that role and benefit the team.

Antonacci's coming up on playing his most games in a season. He's appeared in 97 of the 100 games the White Sox played since he was called up. The best time to get him any rest for a game probably isn't a game that a RHP starts. So they give him a breather against some lefties. Sitting Antonacci is also about getting Grichuk playing time to keep him ready.

I often cite this as the last funny movie ever made. You'd never be able to get away with half the sh*t they say in here today!

Step Brothers and Hangover came out slightly after but you're definitely right that that era was pretty much the end of great comedy movies.

Playing a man down again. Great. If he's hurt put him on the IL.

It’s the only movie I’ve gone to movies twice to see.

Paul Blart came out in 2009 as well.

At a Sox game with my boy....Enjoying a Cuban Comet sandwich and Nancy Faust on the organ....life might get better than this, but not by much.

Nancy just played "always look on the bright side of life" 😆😆😆😆
