Not that anybody cares, but my Uncle Jim was roommates with the Pope at Seminary High in MI and at Villanova. Jim is a huge Sox fan still and keeps in touch with "Bob" a bit, but not as much lately f

I can't wait til they send Quero back down because I hate solo home runs!!!

Quero has looked much better even before he went down the 2nd time

Who had HRs by Quero and Doyle on their bingo card tonight?

Quero gets a pass on the passed ball now.

I thought you could see him starting to turn a corner before Teel came back. He was starting to square up more balls even if the results weren't there.

Acuna is a slick defender.

Hayes makes Romo look like Babe Ruth.

Not even the Pope

that knuckle curve is ridiculous tonight.

Noticed quite a bit of our guys doing it in Seattle. Probably safer on arm then the heavy ball and gets the muscles going.

When Tom Grieve was the Rangers pitching coach in the 90s, he had players warm up with a football. I think he believed it helped reinforce good pitching mechanics or something.

I tried to spell it out in Scrabble, but my wife challenged.

Cleveland is moribund. This is a Detroit and White Sox race.

Closing with Trevor Richards was the stake in the heart.

Greene pulled with a hamstring issue in the Detroit game.

As someone who went Catholic grade school, I always loved the May Crowning because it meant there was about 2 weeks of school left. We also always got All Saints Day off (November 1st) so we could have sleepovers on Halloween. It ruled.

I remember the girls had to sing Immaculate Mary, and there was something about it that was really awesome.

I’m somewhat of a lapsed catholic, but the traditional hymns still get me. Being catholic isn’t totally about religion for me, there’s a cultural identity that I still hold onto. 12 years of catholic school doesn’t go away easily.

Reds color guy is a gem. Puts Stone's pitching cliches to shame.

These are like 8 pitch innings. Game may be over by 8:15.

Love the one pitch outs. Keep cruising Burke.

We gotta start handing out pope hats every game!

Sure, I'll take 1 HR from every RH bat tonight
