This board flipped the f*** out about trading away a AA catcher with no clear future in the org. It would’ve been Armageddon here if he’d dealt any decent assets for a SP. Getz kept the farm fully intact and picked up an arm that, for all intents and purposes, cost a shitty RP and a farmhand.

It’s not about this year. Never was about this year.

The guy leads the entire minors in OPS, and he isn't even old for his level. Mason Adams looks ready to be a backend starter, and they gave up a DSL lottery ticket too. The problem with the trades have always been that Getz acquired fucking awful players. Nobody would have an issue if Getz got players that weren't garbage.

Is Doyle even a more productive player than Mason Adams at this point? Lord knows we could use a starting pitcher to eat innings.
