Yesterday at 01:23 AM1 day Life occupied my day so saw nothing. Great to see a W and especially Colson going deep and Braden 2 hits.
Yesterday at 01:25 AM1 day Colson's solo home run changes nothing about his trajectory but at least he can still run into a mistake once every 2-4 weeks.

Yesterday at 01:47 AM1 day They really did play a fine game.Hagen Smith -man. Love being wrong. The only downside is Taylor is done for the series. Leery of Hudson as playoff closer. He's got the stones, but not the stuff.
Yesterday at 01:48 AM1 day Huge game to win as all the pressure is now on the Astros. So anyone know what Will was asking the umps about in the bottom of the ninth inning?

Yesterday at 02:09 AM1 day I have never seen a challenge for an infielder's foot on the outfield grass before. It caught the announcers off guard. Edited yesterday at 02:09 AM1 day by Falstaff

In my view, the whole lineup looked more dangerous.

Seemed more locked in today than he has been the last couple months.

I really dont care what you did, if you're hitting postseason HRs, all is forgiven in my book. AND the kicker is that hitting postseason HRs can magically cure what ails Colson for next year. Win win.

Yesterday at 04:41 AM1 day “Kind of crossfire, tough angle,” Espada said. “His pitches do have some kind of difficult shape that keeps you off-balance and he did a nice job of doing that.”

You get two in the post season and you can always ask the crew chief for one late in the game. Challenging Altuve was classic gamesmanship. He ALWAYS cheats on the grass to get a better angle as he's slowed down over the years. The final view showed his heel was on the grass as the pitcher started his motion. NY just botched the call. That said, now the cheater of all cheaters knows he's being watched and maybe doesn't get a good angle on a ball tomorrow that impacts the game.
