imo you gotta sit on his breaking balls and fight off the FB, that's the only chance you have imo

then you're just a guess hitter

far better to sit on the fb and adjust

doing the opposite is impossible

this guy is going to have 300 Ks some season and maybe win a Cy Young

you can't give him an early lead

Pedro Martinez predicted it

knows a little something about pitching

I’d imagine this is Newcomb last batter

Burke gave up 3 hrs last game in a couple of innings. He's not a panacea.

Why is Newcomb still in? Give Burke a clean inning.

Would love a good ol Sammy HBP here.

But not on a Williams fast ball

Sox were roughly 50 pct as a team challenging calls when hitting. Sam was around 44 pct

Ya they want to face Rameriz as a righty.

My guess is just to face Ramirez. Burke comes in after regardless my guess

Sam is a hot head. Sometimes thats a good thing. It also means he does stupid s%*# like that and also throw elbows for no reason.

Ramirez much better against lefties

but isnt Newcomb reverse splits?

Another bullshit seeing eye single for these assholes.

I only remember him blowing challenges on calls that aren't all that close.

middle infield is in slo-motion today, goodness

I think it was more so that he doesnt have any power from the right side since he returned from the hamate.

Venable need a a 20-man bullpen.

Cmon Sean. ..shutem down!

Falling behind hitters

Darling asserting Murakami should have had that grounder in the first past Meidroth was dumb too
