I've got no problem losing Reed whatsoever. That's not the issue. Big MO is the issue. He was slated to be our catcher for the next 5 years. Man, overpaid big time.

what catchers are due for free agency next year... i would of liked to keep reed but chances are he turns out to be nothing special anyways.... but olivo is a killer we better sign freddy to a 3-4 year deal if we are sacraficing our catcher of the future for this

I agree with the sentiments of most, Olivo should NOT have been a part of this deal. Reed, eeehhhh, unproven and to get something you have to give something. But Olivo?
