Yep, same here. His dry, witty sarcasm was perfect for that role and movie.

 

The Brits are off to a horrible new year with Lemmy, Bowie and Rickman passing away.

Also in the last day or so, have lost Dale Griffin (original drummer and a founding member of Mott the Hoople) and Gary Loizzo (Lead singer of 60's Chicago rock band The American Breed).

Somehow I missed them. Fletch is one of my favorite comedies. I grew up watching Grizzly Adams. Not sure how I missed the passing of Grizzly and Richard. RIP gentlemen!

The son Jeff mentioned at the of the article was a coach at my HS for a while.

No kidding. I remember Abe from Barney Miller and Fish. RIP Abe.

Phil Fish, one of the greatest characters in TV history. The deadpan conversations between him and Jack Soo were awesome.

I loved Dave Mirra. He was so much fun to watch in the X Games. This is crazy.

Mirra was one of the originals. Loved watching him tear up the xgames. Can't believe he is only 41. Wonder what drove him to commit suicide.
