How do you celebrate such a no-hitter? I know I'd feel like an ass.

Good question, maybe just like a CG shutout game winner?

He's basically walking the guys he thinks that might get a hit off of him, lol.

If he doesn't throw his damn arm out, I'd be surprised. At 125 pitches now.

Heh, 9th baserunner on an error.

Pitch count is ovverrated, so is DREW

LOL. Saw "in play, no out" on game day and figured it was over. Error, guess not. Your franchise ace has already missed over a season because of arm trouble, should this guy really be hitting 130 pitches just for a crappy no-hitter?

Burnett in his 10 baserunner no hitter back in '01 threw only 129 pitches, Ubaldo threw 128 in his 6 baserunner effort. Randy Johnson threw 138 in his 7 baserunner no hitter in 1990.

131, 4 outs to go.

Jackson threw 132 in a start last year. This is the 6th time he's thrown 120+ all within the past 2 years.

That's cause Leyland was his manager.

Crawford CS ! 3 more

This will literally be the most unimpressive no hitter I've ever witnessed if it happens.

Although it is against the Rays...

A no hitter is a no hitter. Still getting 3 outs every inning no matter how many he walks.

I hope he gets it

Poor Rays... lol... seriously

There has to be a reason why the Rays are so no-hitter friendly. They are obviously a great hitting team but it can't be a coincidence why this keep happening to them.

That doesn't necessarily make it a good idea though.

6 of his walks were in there first 3 innings, if I counted right. So he has been dominant the last 6 innings.

Since 2000 a pitcher has thrown 140+ pitches in a single game only 18 times the last being Livan Hernandez in 2005 at 145 pitches, the most over the span was also Livan in that same season with 150.

1 more Edwin.

76 strikes, 70 balls. 8 walks, 1 HBP, 1 error, 6 K

Still 1 out to go.
