Zach Stewart has 2 options remaining and has been optioned to Pawtucket...Lillibridge will be utility player for INF and OF on ML team

Pirates to Braves to Red Sox.

At any rate, the best move KW has made since Sergio Santos was obviously Jose Quintana.

His "big impact" moves have tended to backfire since 2008, but this one isn't an unreasonable risk at all and will pay for itself, largely.

If nothing else, we'll probably make up half that revenue from Red Sox fans when they're in town who also want to see Youk playing for another team.

Just heard Ventura say Lillibridge has never been traded before...um third time, Robin.

Our return from the Javy trade just went up.

Does anybody got the score app? I downloaded the crap for my iPod and I'm not getting anything sports, what's wrong here?

Our 3B have hit .168 this year. Even horribly average performance will be awesome.

So did our return for Edwin Jackson.

So is o-dawg gone?

And there's still some hope for Santos Rodriguez...especially when/if Thornton gets dealt this year or in the offseason.

No and there's no need to move him, he's now in Lillibridge's role as utility IF guy.

Is O-Dawg gone and is Youkilis leaving at the end of the season? Yes, I am aware of the option and buyout he has.

The one thing that worries me is that outside of 10 days in late may after coming off the DL, Youkilis has been horribly bad.

But if he's motivated now to prove people wrong, and he's actually feeling good...let's see him bring it.

So the big question now is...will Danks give up his #20 to Youk?

We cleared a spot for Youk in Lillibridge, so not positively, though I would think they would be better served with Jackson or Johnson on the team with the current roster make up.

Sounds like we pay 900k for him for the rest of the season. End of the year it's 1 mil buy-out or 13 million option. So 1.9 million in all.

Just jumping in to say that i love this move. Kudos to KW and the front office and Welcome To The Greek God Of Walks.

Carl Everett, AJ, Jenks, Rios, Javy, Swisher, O-Cabrera, Manny...we've had a mixed record in that area taking players with "bad reputations" and incorporating them into our clubhouse.

Griffey, Jr., had a reputation for being next to impossible to deal with and he was great for our clubhouse and as a teammate, if not so good on the field.

what?

Does Kevin have a Gold Glove? is he decent defensively?

We don't have to make any more 25 man roster changes.

Kevin U in, BSBridge out. Doesn't Boston want some Fu-Ku?

Wow watching Youk leave the game today was pretty special. Hats off to the RedSox fans for understanding what was about to go down & giving him that ovation.

Hopefully he makes his new Sox club feel the same!!!

Even better that the buyout was a part of this deal. that may still leave us money to add another player.

I believe he's got 2, but not sure if one of them was at 1st

And it's not like we lost serious trade chips. We could still probably land a starter

Hudson handled the situation like a pro, saying he would make the deal too if he was the White Sox GM
