Throw beat the runner....but AJ wasn't in a great position to make the tag, too far out in front of home plate for some reason.

Well, let's just put that run on AJ, pretty much, taking one away from us and giving one to them.

AJ's looked scared of a collision at the plate.

What did you want him to do there? It was a good slide. **** happens.

He didn't make an effort at all to block the plate or tag him. Combined with his pathetic effort last inning at getting back to 2nd, and you wonder what the hell is going on with him.

How so? Even if he comes back to 2B, it's still 1st and 2nd, one out. Can't assume a run there.

By the time the ball got there he was already at home. Nothing he could do.

Well yeah, cause he gave Gordon the ENTIRE plate.

Right because you think he doesnt give a ****? Im just trying to figure out the reasoning behind the b****ing right now.

No, he just didn't seem like he was in the game that entire inning. It might have something to do with what happened in the top of the inning. He's still thinking about his base running mistake.

You missed that a few months ago. I miss the talk of how he doesnt care or try. Good times. Not surprised that this talk has reared its ugly head again.
