Orioles. I can't stand Buck Showalter, but otherwise I don't have anything against them. It would be nice for Thome to win a ring also.

The Thome story would be fine by me. I want the A's to win one finally though. A lot of people hate Billy Beane but he accomplishes a ton with the restrictions put on him. The A's winning a World Series would be a cool story.

Cardinals and Rangers.

 

I don't want to see the O's win, because I don't want to see Angelos get to be rewarded for ruining one of the great franchises in baseball.

I'm strongly rooting against Washington & Detroit.

 

If I had to pick a result to root for, I'd like to see Texas win a game 7 in St. Louis.

But if he can't win. DETROIT!!!! Win every game and enter next season fat and happy. Detroit needs to win it all so the Sox can win over the overconfident Tigers and pesky Royals next season.

I voted Cinci, but really I'm good as long as the Rangers and perhaps Yankees don't win.

I don't think Stras is too happy either. I remember an interview earlier in the year where he said if the Nats got to the WS, you'd have to tear the ball from his hands. He might take the high road now, but I can't imagine him being happy at all.
