I'm more worried about what our system would do to Garcia than Garcia himself.

I don't see him spending much time in the "Sox system". He'll likely be the RF with the big club starting August 1.

Garcia is another physical specimen who doesn't know how to f***ing hit. Why can't we, just once, get someone that understands the strike zone?

For reals.

I'm with you but the dude is killing Milb pitching this year. Look at his stats. It's like he has nothing left to prove.

Overreaction much? Garcia is definitely the opposite of every other OF we have drafted over the past several years. He shows a really good feel for hitting, however he likes to hit to much and needs to work on being more patient. He's no Mitchell/Hawkins type who has all the raw talent in the world, but a lack of a feel for hitting and major flaws in their swings that cause a K rate up over 30%

Avisail Garcia has a great hit tool and is young (22) but his walk rate is bad the last thing the sox need is another f***ing free swinger, hopefully he develops like Carlos Gomez minus the speed and defense.
