That's funny because OSU was punished by actually covering the spread, on the road, at Navy. You shouldn't have quoted someone who has seen it.

Didn't that at least have something to do with Braxton Miller going down for the season?

Sucks to see it happen to the pride of Crete Monee

It's a dislocated ankle and a broken fibula. That's rough. He was a consensus top 10 pick for 2016. Best HS WR I'd seen in this area (Until Boykin this year). Hopefully he can get back. Sucks for him.

That was more a downgrade due to losing Miller than the performance against Navy though.

Not really. It was having a close game against a service academy. Luckily for ND if they run the table the resume is pretty damn good.

Playoff/Bowl Projections:

Sugar: 1) Florida St. 13-0 vs 4) Michigan St. 12-1

Rose: 2) Oregon 12-1 vs 3) Alabama 12-1

Orange: 5) Notre Dame 12-1 vs 14) Clemson 10-2

Peach: 8) Mississippi 10-2 vs 17) Marshall 13-0

Cotton: 7) Mississippi St 10-2 vs 10) Baylor 10-2

Fiesta: 6) Auburn 10-2 vs 9) Oklahoma 10-2

No TCU?

So many two loss teams. There will be many disappointed fan bases out there which is good for momentum towards 8 team playoff.

No TCU?

TCU absolutely blows. They are a joke. They would be lucky to beat Illinois.

If they win out, they will make it. They have the 2nd best resume of any 1 loss team (Auburn clearly the best)

I don't get the hate for TCU. They have a pair of nice wins @ West Virginia and vs Oklahoma. Their F+ ranking is 7. If they survive next week they'll be for sure in The playoff.

s*** like this is what makes ND fans look stupid.

TCU, MSU, KSTATE, and ND are all pretty much even at this point until one of them proves otherwise.

Vols

Slowly but surely, we're on our way back.

Did you watch their game yesterday? WVU turned the ball over 5 times, and TCU still needed WVU to take the air out of the ball their last three drives to get 3 and outs to give TCU a chance at a winning FG. They are awful. KSU is the best team in the Big 12. TCU is weak.

KSU is the only one of those three that can play with ND on a neutral field. MSU's offense is weak and TCU's defense is awful.

Notre Dame's entire resume to this point is a close loss to Florida State. I think they are behind those other teams until they beat a good team.

I'm not talking about resume I'm talking about how good the teams are. Also, people talk about MSU beating a 1-loss Nebraska team, but Nebraska's schedule is horrible. Lots of mediocre teams could be 6-1 with Nebraska's schedule.

LOFL. Yep, MSU and TCU can't play with Notre Dame but a garbage North Carolina team had a chance of beating them, a mediocre at best Stanford team that just got b**** slapped by Oregon had them on the ropes and a Navy team with a losing record was only down by 3 with 4 minutes to go. You can brag when Notre Dame actually beats a good team.

Michigan State's offense is weak? 45.5 ppg, good for 5th in the country. They scored 15 more points against Purdue than ND did. I think Michigan St. is better than Kansas St.

Notre Dame playing down to their competition isn't new. Though you make a good point, just because they play close to s***ty teams doesn't mean they also won't play close to good or great teams. They've won 28 of their last 34 and a lot of those were close wins vs s***ty teams. But plenty of them were wins vs good or great teams.

Well it wouldn't be so crazy of a point if ND didn't need similar luck to best Navy.

Florida received a vote in the AP Poll today lol

Texas A&M getting one is more of a travesty.

Two straight years of ND having no clue how to defend the option. Will be interesting to see if they improve in time for GT next year.

They've never learned how to defend the option.

Navy always messes with them and makes it a game.
