Early predictions thread

Let's assume that we have the 25 man roster in the organization now, except for Dayan Viciedo being sent to somewhere else, for a non 2015 factor prospect.

What do you see the Sox win total for 2015 being?

I'm going to say 88 wins and a Wild Card berth. I think the bullpen is going to be a little better than most, so that's why I'm going with this number.

85 WINS

WC Birth.

It will be a fun ride.

84, I think we make a good run for the playoffs but ultimately fall short.

87 wins and a wild card berth

Goin' with 84-78.

I'm shooting high with 91.

86-76

87 - 75 (Makes it to ALCS)

The team wins the central, the black and blue division of MLB.

Sale, Abreu, Shark, Robertson will be all stars.

Sale wins Cy Young, with 20Ws, +250K, and an ERA below 3.00.

And swept in the ALDS.

90 wins / AL Central Champ

This is crazy that were even having this conversation. I'm so excited for 2015.

I don't want to crown us but we do like pretty good on paper.

I'll go with 89-73 Wild Card as a December prediction. I'm sure I'll change it in a couple months prior to the season after I see how we're doing in ST.

Tough to say....but I think between 83-88 wins is pretty safe. Can't forget the trade dealine as well...you have to imagine with as much invested in this team already there is going to be an addition if necessary.

LOL this makes me laugh every time.

87-75. Sox and Tigers are within a couple games of each other almost all season. At the end, the Tigers take the division and the Sox take a Wild Card spot.

As the team stands now, 80 - 82. Although much improved, they still have holes at 2B, RF, 3B, C, and 4th SP. If they can improve at two or three of those positions they can be a serious contender.

Edit: An upgrade at manager would have helped as well, but that's not happening.

87 wins. Ask me in early March, and I'll have likely talked myself into another 5.

Melky Cabrera is a hole?

I think he's saying Avi.

I don't think Avi and Conor will be holes.

Probably referring to Garcia being unproven up to this point.

We will win anywhere from 0-162 games, possibly somewhere in between, definitely not towards the extreme.

I thought he was penciled in at LF.

89-74, beat Indians in Game 163
