I feel like I have been one of the few that has been able to seperate Tom Cruise: Movie Star from Tom Cruise: Crazed Scientologist.

The MI movies have been better than the past 5 Bond movies to me, outside of Casino Royale.

Eva Green was really such a strong female counterpart to Craig in that one....of course, he's never going to marry and settle down, but most of the Bond Girls have been lightweights compared to her.

if you read any of the james bond's books, esp in chronological sense. he fell in love twice, which when they were killed, it drove him deeper in a murderous despair. all this goes back to his parents being killed in front of him as a youngster.

eva's character was the first in his path of being a 007.

all the books are easy listening.

That was the one almost nobody has watched, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, with George Lazenby (the one time he played the role, I think Sean Connery was being phased out but then he proved to be too popular and had to be brought back).

NORTH AMERICA: Weekend Estimates: 'Ant-Man' Leads Again with $24.8M; 'Pixels' #2 with Lackluster $24.0M Start; 'Minions' #3 with $22.1M; Solid 'Southpaw' ($16.5M) Outpaces Soft 'Paper Towns' ($12.5M)

Pixels was expected a week ago to make as much as $38-40 million, so yet another in a long line of Sandler disappointments. If not for Grown Ups 1/2, he'd really be under water.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service - sean connery wanted more money to continue. he dropped out and sean connery hated that he missed the OHMSS.

all the movies are a complication of the stories. look at the chronological order. it is way different. i am a huge james bond fan since the 70's.... i read the books and the new books that others were writing to continue the story. Daniel Craig is the closest to the story that has been written.

The Trick with Sandler movies has been that he keeps them cheap enough that they're still profitable & they can just keep churning them out. No matter how bad they are or now little any of us want to see more.

Holy crap this list of terrible Adam Sandler movies just keeps going:

Sad because I grew up on and loved Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Water Boy, etc. I bet those movie are damn near unwatchable now, much like anything Jim Carrey.

the same kind of formula does gets old. too bad. he is not as bad as his personality suggest.

I think he reached the low point with Grown Ups One. That movie was one of the worst comedies I've ever seen. I wouldn't watch Grown Ups Two if you gave me 100 bucks. I almost walked out of Grown Ups One when I realized there was no hope of me laughing even once. But I stayed until the end for some reason.

I enjoyed it.

Saw it today and really like it. Started off kind of slow but picked up and it was great. I will have to admit, it got to me. Was more emotional then I thought it would be but I would for sure give it a 8 out 10 at the least and would recommend it.

A friend if mine who I really respect in his movie reviews said that Pixels was phenomenal. That was the word he used to describe it. Confused because there have been soooo many bad reviews of it by critics and the public. Anyone seen it here?

Extended trailer for they little B movie I'm in.

Apparently the Writer/Directer of the movie knows Lowell Dean who made Wolfcop, which I guess has a pretty big cult following. Guess Lowell likes what he's seen and might get this little B movie, with a 3k budget, to take off.

Things seem to be getting pretty interesting.

Trainwreck was good but geez Apatow, trim your comedies down a bit. Over two hours is too long and it dragged a bit.

Exactly. It was a little too long, 15-20 minutes too long. I was getting antsy about the time Marv Albert and company appeared in a needless scene. I also thought the scene at the end was a little too long. I agree with you completely. It was getting to the point the movie being a tad bit too long was starting to ruin it for me. I definitely think the length of the movie would make me give it a B-plus or B instead of an A-minus.

-- I'm thinking Vacation will not be that funny. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't know why but I read this post with the voice of Kip Dynamite in my head.

American Movie was it for me....one of the funniest low budget indy movies of all-time. Just the part about Brett Favre was hilarious.

Of course, they were supposedly documenting the filming of an even lower budget movie called THE COVEN, which sounds a bit like that synopsis.

So it's either that one or Waiting for Guffman.

Saw Kingsmen last night. Pretty fun but you could tell that it was low-budget. I enjoyed the dark comedy/violence but my wife wasn't that interested.

I'd say it's a solid rental - 3.5 stars out of 5.

i totally agree. i thought is a real good tongue in cheek comedy.

3.5+ is about right with 1 side note. a real enjoyable movie to watch over again.

I wouldnt call a $80M movie low budget, especially for a basically original property. (They made the graphic novel to make the movie)
