Sale is pretty much the only thing for us Sox fans to root for this year so I want this streak to be as long as possible.

I know it's not the norm, but you can't ruin Sale's streak because of the weather. You just can't.

 

Better hope for a rain out rather than some rain delays during the game then. A rain out doesn't ruin anything well except for 40,000 or so fans expecting to see the beloved ex Sox pitcher and the current beloved Sox pitcher pitching against each other plus the added bonus of Sale breaking some very cool streak of consecutive games started with at least 10 K's . Sale would just pitch tomorrow streak intact ,whereas rain delays could potentially ruin it.

 

If it's ruined it's ruined, maybe we get a win out of it still. Just chalk it up to Murphy's law and the Gods of Baseball kicking their dog again.

I'd say depends on the situation.

 

1 out and 2 runners on in close game, get him out of there.

That's really hard to know unless I knew more about the situation/circumstances.

 

If he was "cruising" or throwing relatively low stress innings, I'd leave him in. If he was laboring and falling apart, then I'd pull him.
