Man are we playing stupid right now.

Eaton wake up.

Wow, terrible end to that inning there.

#2 hitters have to figure out a way to move that runner over...

Well Hawks says there's no weaknesses in his game so

Oh please. He was turning toward Russell as Russell began his slide.

Oh please I'm being as objective as I can be . It happens in a split second and as a catcher you throw the glove and yoursel out there as fast as you can to apply a tag. You don't have time to pick and choose where the tag ends up.

Balls gets hit on a line, you figure it's probably not a double play for the Cubs with that crowd reaction. Then you remember it's mostly Cubs' fans.

How did Eaton fall down there?

Don't say "we." We're just fans watching them play horses*** baseball. If I truly was in that "we," I'd be ashamed.

Quintana nearing 100 pitches with his typical lack of run support...what else is new?

Good try Adam. It all happens in a split second. You did your best. You fell on the basepaths and now you fall in the outfield but it's fine because you're trying hard.

LOL, how did he fall down again just now?

Eaton even awake

Put the tag down is all he had to do.

Ahh yea its all so simple. It was bang bang ,Flowers is making sure he catches the ball. He cannot see where the runners lead foot is going since he cant see 2 things at once. Just turning towards the runner from where he catches it gives the runner another 5 feet You're making something out of nothing and and when people argue Tyler's strength is pitch framing I argue against it . So it's not like I have any love for Flowers.

Watched that play completely objectively without regard to the fact it was the lead run for the other team or that it was Flowers. Can you say that ?

Keystone Kops...

Farmer is really pissed now. DJ claims it was 100% impossible for Eaton to see.

Two mental mistakes in a row.

Can't call it and exoect Cabrera to bail you out and catch it at the last second.

that's just awful

I am watching the game he sucks as a everyday catcher. He failed yet again to do his job as he does 70% of the time.

Hawk there's been a whole bunch of mistakes all year

that's pure frustration on Melkys part

Yes because when Castro missed the tag on Avi's steal earlier, I said to myself "how the hell can you miss a tag" despite the fact that it benefitted my dog in the fight

Great job boys!

Hope Reinsdorf decides to either change the catcher or the manager who presides over this dysfunction.

Quintana not doing his job backing up home, either.

Overthrow by Cabrera....trying to do too much.

And that's an earned run for Quintana...

The Sox are a poor excuse for a baseball team. That's why I can put up with Saladino and Sanchez at the plate because at least they can catch the ball.

I'm just wondering how this crap manager has made it this far? He's an absolute disgrace.
