We need automated strike zones. It makes no sense in this generation balls and strikes are called by a guy who can't see the strike zone.

Yup. We have instant replay, clocks to regulate time between innings, and all this new tech, yet we don't have a fair strike zone. In any game, not just this one

I have no problem with umps giving pitchers off the corners but it has to go the same way.

Time was set on first pitch of the game to Fowler being called a ball when it was way closer than some of this garbage

Agreed. And Hurdle really should have gotten himself ejected after that last inning. Those calls were absurd.

They could implement that and essentially not tell anyone. Just have a little earphone in the home play ump's ear calling balls and strikes.

Hate to say it's over for Pittsburgh but it's probably that.

Adam Eaton is wondering what the hell happened to the plate

Get a room, guys.

Unfair umpiring tonight and you won't hear a peep about it tomorrow unless you live in Pittsburgh.

Yeah...why would you hear it anywhere else? To be fair, if Sox were in this position we wouldn't care or say anything or expect anything to be said. I have friends who like the Cubs that have been acknowledging it but what are you going to do? Not be excited the team they like is winning?

Good grief Kris Bryant.

Bad luck
