Surprising to see Buehrle having the same WAR as Sale.

Especially when there could not be any two more different pitchers.

They must've been a global change. At first I thought they just kept the pants, but those are road pants, at Marlins Park. He didn't pitch in Miami after the trade to the Dodgers...unless this is from another year.

The background is a 'shop. Its probably just a road shot with a background added in.

They probably just made the white pants gray.

Wow.

Well, he may not have been able to hit those if he didn't have a starting gig.

With the combination of the the opening available in our rotation, Cooper and Herm, it makes a lot of sense for Latos to rebuild his value here.

Not sure where he got it from unless he accidentally double counted Garcia. Those 6 starters he listed did, believe it or not, make all 162 starts for the Sox that year. So the combined WAR of Sox starters was 18.6 in 2005.

Accidentally used Fangraph's total from the entire pitching staff, instead of just the starters.

Yea - Bobby Jenks looks pretty badass after losing all that weight. Looks younger in this picture too. Hum.

Damn you! I was going to make a skinny Jenks reference too. Dead ringer right there.

I'm still waiting for the day where a player says,

"My play will do the talking this year. No more questions, I'm done talking until October."

Hell that was a good article. Definitely some good info in there.

Theyd get fined.

Theyd get fined.

How do you figure that?
