He would've thrown more pitches for balls

But would he have had two absolutely tattood vs him?

Have a feeling this is going to get ugly...

Is there any proof that career numbers versus a specific team actually mean anything? Always see them quoted, just seems like it'll mostly be random variance to me, unless they have a consistent offence that has a particular skillset you exploit well

I don't want to see the pen get burned tonight.

This team will need a legit 5th starter at the deadline.

Turner and Johnson will get their cracks at the 5th starter spot before the Sox deal for one.

One good thing at least is Gonzalez hitting 92 on the gun. Rumour has it one of the reasons the Orioles released him was that they didn't like him at 86-88 touching 90 which was what they had him at during the spring

He would walk the bases loaded then give up a grand slam

I don't think it does. There's so much roster turnover from year to year to the point where it probably doesn't mean anything.

Great pitch there. And shut up Tull. Should have been booted.

Shut up Tulo.

"The Hawks may drop the puck before we're out of the first inning"

Gonzalez made some bad pitches to EE and Donaldson. Can't hang pitches over the plate against these guys.

jays chriping about the high strike call, love that you can hear the onfield mic

Well that wasn't that bad. He just let the best hitters they have beat him unfortunately

Tulo's a big reason I don't want Cargo. Ex Rockies are garbage after leaving that place. I'm amazed people thought he was a good acquisition for the Jay's last year- just look at his career splits. He sucks.

I was definitely impressed with his velocity. Hope his control issues is a first inning result of nerves and trying to make a good first impression.

Jays lineup is murders row

They have 3 guys capable of putting up .400+ wOBAs and one who's going to put up at least .350 with good defense at SS. Most teams would be glad just to have one...

Well on the bright side he got out of it with no further damage.

He hit them to the playoffs. That is enough for Toronto.

Average/OBP continues to free fall.

Ump is looking a little shaky tonight.

They just going to let Avi suffer for a little while longer?
