On the positive side I have an iPod with basically all the songs I listen to on it. My question is do any of you know a program where I can take music off of my iPod and put it into iTunes free of charge? False Alarm Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 saw the rock the bells tour in toronto this weekend--tribe called quest, de la soul, rakim & kid capri, nas, the pharcyde, mos def, method man & redman, and the cool kids. showed up too late for murs and some other acts, and the venue wasn't really prepared to deal with that many people, but the sets i saw were mostly fantastic. I saw it on Saturday here in Chicago or Tinley Park to be exact. I've seen it the past 2 years in California. It was pretty good. Nas was good, De La Soul sucked, they didn't even do Rock Co Kane Flow. Mos Def was another disappointment. He keeps doing new stuff and singing that boogie man s***. I wanted to hear Black on Both sides and some Blackstar. Meth and Red were great. I missed the cool kids and others since I didn't get there until about 4. Half his damn set is covers of other songs! And what's with all this frat-like terminology his hipster dufus fans have coined? Among them Parrotheads (which, supposedly, turned into Pirates), Landsharks, and probably several other words I just failed to catch onto. This is probably the same fate Dave Matthews will find himself in some day. Practically the same fanbase. I understand the experience exceeds the actual show, but is this worth several hundred dollars? I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary aside from beach balls flying all over, people in Hawaiian outfets and a similiarly themed front stage. Personally, I'd rather tailgate than attend his show. Thankfully for everyone he'll have another performance on Saturday!
