  1. Sure, but no amount of magical tax knowledge is going to make up $100 million with these kind of revenues.
  2. Look, I know the Sox get some revenues that don't come through on the baseball side, but if you track the Forbes +/- by year, the Sox are somewhere around $100 million in losses in that time. While I don't think it is that bad, I would be pretty surprised if they were hiding an extra hundred million dollars in that time period.
  3. Glad it was Pillar and not Fletcher.
  4. Who was it that was calling him a bust after his first inning?
  5. He has to park cars there for the chip on his shoulder he has about something so freaking simple. It's a train, it's not rocket science.
  6. That's what you say publicly when you don't want to say, "Yeah, I wanted the extra $50 million dumbass, duh."
  7. Sure, playing for 2nd place now gets you into the playoffs. But here we are fetishizing failure from a different era, while decrying it in the modern era.
  8. "I haven't seen a guy speak this long to prevent something from changing since Strom Thurmond over civil rights, what's he so passionate about?" "Parking places."
  9. And that's just our GM.
