  2. Merkin mentions Karl Ravech, Connor Onion, and Wayne Randazzo here. Also says Adam Amin won't be the PBP guy but mentions he could be involved in some capacity, depending on the hire.
  3. Any time anyone catches themselves having a monent of empathy, take the next moment to remind yourself of the spectacular disaster that was and is, one John Schriffdawg
  4. Trust me, they will but by how much is the question. The Lightning and Bucs draw very well. in Tampa, most Rays fans that live in Tampa will not make the trip to St. Pete especially on weeknights.
  5. I wish Schrif well, I have no bad words about him.
  6. When you're hot, you're hot, when you're not, you're not. Milwaukee is, Tampa isn't.

  9. On Dec. 4, 2023, Milwaukee announced it had signed top prospect Jackson Chourio to an eight-year, $82 million extension that included two club options. It was the largest contract ever given to a player who hadn’t seen a major league field. In Game 3 of the World Series, the 22-year-old delivered a historic performance and helped put the franchise one win away from its first championship. Chourio went 4-for-5 with a double, two runs and a stolen base Monday night, leading the way as the Brewers romped over the Rays 10–1. Chourio became the second-youngest player with four hits and a stolen base in a World Series game, trailing only Ty Cobb, who did it at 21 years and 299 days during Game 3 of the 1908 Fall Classic. He’s also the youngest player with a four-hit World Series game since Joe Garagiola in 1946 (Game 4). This hasn’t been a one-game phenomenon. Chourio has dominated this World Series. He’s now 8-for-14 (.571) with three stolen bases and a 1.214 OPS. After three seasons, he’s delivering on baseball’s biggest stage at the most important moment in Brewers history. 10. ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Go ahead, throw whatever pitch you want. Jackson Chourio is ready to hit it. The ludicrously talented Brewers leadoff man was front and center on Monday at Tropicana Field as Milwaukee made all kinds of history en route to a 10-1 rout of the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 3 of the World Series. Chourio's contribution to the Fall Classic record books: Still five months away from his 23rd birthday, he became the youngest player in 80 years to record four hits in a World Series game. Two of them came in a neverending fifth inning in which the Brewers scored eight runs, all with two outs — also a World Series record. yahoo.com/sports
  11. WSCR spent Scriffs entire tenure campaigning for his fire, and now acting sad is rich.
  12. Stone is past retirement age, and misses too many away games. Sox should also start looking for a future placement.
  13. So glad he gone! Hopefully they can find someone who is or has been associated with the Sox or is a Sox fan. At the very least, please get someone who knows baseball this time. I also hope that AJ will be Stone's replacement someday when Stone has had enough. At least bring him in when Stone takes his days off.
  14. if the new owner spends as promised
  15. not everyone can do baseball Since I've had to watch Sox baseball on MLB, I've rarely watched the Sox broadcast. It always seemed the opposing broadcasts did their homework. I learned more about the team that way. So I don't really care who replaces him.
  16. There is some irony there. It’s the pot calling the kettle black.
  17. The Rays will be getting a new stadium in Tampa in a few years. I wonder if the team will actually draw better there than what they have done in St. Pete.
  18. There's always a catch isn't there. Let him try to stop me....I'll be the guy Standing by the Cuban Comet cart.
  19. Unless he can sanction you for poor eating etiquette...somehow.
  20. I'm still standing up damnit and you can't stop me, Boyer!!!
  21. The 90-100 pound Kpop stars do a better job usually. They at least practice hard so as to not embarrass themselves or at least look "cute and comedic."
  22. If only Big Game's arm was that lively when he was here....oh well a guy can dream.
  23. But is Ron familiar with Lawrence KS Applebee's/Subway's? Also couldn't imagine him at a Pastor Hamilton rally lol. Greg, for sure.
  24. What about greg? I'm still not convinced that Ron and greg aren't the same person.
  25. The White Sox World Series trophy can now legally drink.
  26. Tatis Jr. and even Erik Johnson must have been laughing game over right there
