  2. @WBWSF already has the job locked up. He interviewed directly with Jerry.
  3. Chase Young would be a nice rotational replacement for Kentavious Street
  4. Toronto will be the worst. That's a very diverse and open city.
  5. Pretty well actually. The guy is still getting a salary from the MLB Network.
  6. Rick Hahn looked like an all world athlete in his quarterzips.

  8. SIOne Decision That Will Shape Every National League Team’s...Everyone is chasing the Brewers in the senior circuit. How will the also-rans approach hot stove season?Contreras pending FA situation addressed...stay tuned
  9. Also not like he plays in a favorable market to express that viewpoint...or at least closer to 35/65. Good luck on the trip to Detroit.

  11. Yesterday

  12. Some reports are out that the Bears are talking to the Saints about Chase Young. Seven sacks this season so far and played for Dennis Allen.

  14. Poles being a good person actually paid off for once.
  15. If the Bears want to get this stadium built asap , it’s either AH or Indiana, and they aren’t moving to Indiana.
  16. I enjoy that John ghosted the Titans then expected them to still be courteous.
  17. How well did that work out with Rick Hahn?
  18. Jim might not trade Mack to the Bears just because his brother is pissed that Tennessee wouldn't even discuss trading Simmons.
  19. Maybe he meant Ventura had all the leadership qualities of a Washington General.
  20. I always thought uncle Joey from full house looked like the adult version of that meathead guy.
  21. I wonder if the Bears might inquire about Nate Wiggins. If Baltimore is gonna blow it up, and everyone else on the defense is expensive and worth little. If they want a 2nd round pick, eh.. I might be out. If they want a 3rd, I'm 100% in. Still a very young player as well. He'd be a worthy, if not fantastic, CB1.
  22. This is a perfect example of why you gotta be careful with Free Agency. Santander had one really good year in a sea of okay performance and now he’s an albatross that will force them to part ways with team leader George Springer. Oh, and he’s outspoken about religion and politics while remaining a citizen of Venezuela. Might be the worst current contract. Thank God Sox dodged that bullet.
  23. The Crain's article above shows how badly they've screwed this up. This is a quote from state Senator Cunningham. “They have tried to hammer away at this narrative that it’s either Arlington Heights or or Hammond,” Cunningham said of the Bears organization. “They undermined that before by having ongoing discussions with the city in April and May of last year. They will say publicly that’s our only focus, but we’ve seen in the past that while they might say that publicly, they have been willing to talk about other proposals behind the scenes.”
  24. Crain's has a second Bears stadium article today. This one is about the general legislative efforts. I don't know how to post paywall-free links to these. https://www.chicagobusiness.com/politics-policy/ccb-chicago-bears-stadium-20261106/ From the article: "Goodell, Bears owner George McCaskey and team President Kevin Warren met with Pritzker’s key aides and the top legislative negotiators, state Sen. Bill Cunningham and Rep. Kam Buckner on Nov. 4, according to the sources. “We expect productive dialogue with both leadership teams in the coming weeks. We have a responsibility and obligation to explore every option available to the club, and we look forward to developing a transformational project that will attract global events and deliver jobs and economic growth to all of Chicagoland,” the Bears statement said."
  25. I feel this honestly.
  26. Agreed. I hope they can make a few moves before the lockout happens so we can at least talk about those.
  27. bmags replied to Whisox05's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I'm so annoyed that I can't get any energy about who should be signed knowing we are headed for the lockout.
  28. The McCaskey family has screwed this entire situation up about as bad as it could possibly be.
