  1. Past hour

  2. we are starting hicks? is noah the bulk guy?
  3. That's if this is true. Also they're not always right. All that said. If it happens I won't lose any sleep over the trade. All the best prospects would still be intact.
  4. B. Smith only concentrated on catching in his last year of college, where he caught 44 games (if memory serves). I think he's got a couple years of starting in the minors before he's regarded as an accomplished catcher.
  5. Would not be surprised if Tommy John is in Skenes near future.
  6. I'm fine with filling the bullpen with in house pitching. McDougall ,Hagan Smith etc .
  7. Very strange. Comparable salaries but Larnach has another year of control while Abreu is an impending free agent. Crane fucked up.
  8. Look, if the Sox are already looking to put him into a deal like this, it probably means they see something limiting his ceiling at the major league level. If they saw him as a top end catcher, this deal doesn't get traction. Could they be wrong, sure.
  9. There's plenty of player's in this years draft to replace his value. I'm not concerned one bit about trading him. I'm probably overrating Boston Smith. Something about him I don't want sell low.
  10. We have the opportunity to potentially put this to bed in the next few weeks!
  11. Money is always the stumbling block, I think the new owners want some kind of deal by the end of August. They are from Jacksonville and want to stay in Florida so if there’s no deal in Tampa my bet is Orlando is the next stop.
  12. Today

  13. One of the dumbest and funniest quotes from one of my favorite podcasts. If the Sox lose, Ron prime triumphs.
  14. Well at least the Twins are currently trying to light the trade fire.
  15. Why would the Twins make that trade? Abreu sucks.
  16. I petition to ban Ron if the Sox lose today
  17. He's been solid and he's a good character t have in the clubhouse.
  18. Guaranteed loss incoming…no need to even watch today
  19. My god. If we had just given him run support that year, he'd have won the Cy Young. Sox were allergic to scoring runs for him that year.
  20. Honestly that was your least funny post Ron. Kinda bullshit and I wouldn’t do that on your streak
  21. Do know if there is there general support for the Tampa stadium plan among residents of the area? It sounds like approval is very much up in the air. Something has to give - the Rays are winning and they still can't get people to come to the park. This isn't the first year they've fielded a good team, either. Unlike the White Sox or the Royals, I don't think it's debatable whether the Rays really need a new stadium. One way or another, they are NOT going to be staying at Tropicana Field. If they do get approval to build a stadium next to Raymond James, I suppose the second question is whether that would fix their attendance woes. I'd image the location would have to help to some extent.
