Never liked Giddey anyways. Never thought he was a part of this teams future in anyway which showed how incompetent AK/ME was. There's a reason why OKC gave him up then went on to win a championship. Buzelis on the other hand I'm disappointed by so far because he has shown he can be a good role player. Its early but right now he's not looking like a good secondary piece to build around.

Giddey and Buzelis look awful. Whenever I flip to a game, Buzelis seems to turn the ball over.

That's the frustrating thing. Once the big network deals start losing games is the first time things will get serious. Asset valuations continue to grow so I am not certain why the owners want to adjust the system. Winning and losing means nothing to the asset valuation.

I don't see how the owners and players would allow the entire season to be lost. I mean, I see how it could happen, but I don't think either side wants that...at all. They really don't want to alienate fans, and that will be the biggest cost. Hockey lost a season to a labor dispute and had to make a bunch of changes to the game to get fans back. Based on what I've seen about how far apart the two sides are, it's hard to imagine some of the season not being lost. Hopefully they start having conversations soon and begin working on compromises. I don't see a salary cap/floor happening, and that might be the biggest roadblock.

I've heard Faulkner and some of the business opps are too involved. Danny needs to start with her then work his way down to potentially Davidson. Kyle has done a good job of tearing it down. He's done a poor job of building around Bedard. From the lack of top 6 talent to getting players who are "nice guys" but have 0 grit or sandpaper. And the big guys they have play like their 5'7 (looking at you Alex Vlasic). Then there's the lack of development in the minors not caring enough about the Rockford team and rushing other guys to the NHL when they clearly weren't ready yet (Korchinski) Its a serious issue top to bottom. And don't get me started on Blashill and the assistants. Beyond horrible (other than maybe Peca and Waite). He doesn't adapt to the players he has. He wants to play like he has big bruising forwards and defenseman like they're Vegas or Florida. And they should've fired Vellucci ages ago.

To be more clear, if the 2027 season is not played. What happens in 2028? Will the 2028 season be cancelled also? When would this ever end? If neither side gives in this could go on forever.
