  1. Past hour
  2. It was crazy that they didn’t rule forward progress was stopped on that play. That would have been an even crazier ending than the Seahawks / Bears games had there not been a penalty on Lions
  3. And he’s a West Coast guy with family connected to Hollywood. SFG if they miss on Imai or Padres.
  4. They did say Goff scored a touchdown but that was negated by the offensive pass interference ending the game.
  5. Well worth the price tag, excited to see him in the lineup. A LH hitter with his power potential is something Sox fans have wanted for years.
  6. Given JR took him to arbitration over 50 thousand dollars left a bad taste in Gio and his agent mouths, keep that in mind.
  7. Figured it would be nice to have to have an ongoing offseason thread to discuss potential lineups. Feel free to make a separate one for facing a righty/lefty. As more moves are made, we can update predictions, but for now, assume Robert is still on the team.
  8. Brad Biggs' the Tribune Bears beat writer offers his thoughts: "Seriously, as best I understand the situation, the Bears are eyeing the possibility of putting up a stadium in Hammond. Either that or before lawmakers return to Springfield in 2026, the team is attempting a leverage play as it seeks public funding for infrastructure around Arlington Heights that could approach $1 billion as well as tax breaks. “This is not about leverage,” Warren wrote in the letter. If you have to say it’s not about leverage, it’s only about leverage. The franchise’s stadium pursuit has become such a flip-flop operation, at this point it’s literally all over the map. Pick a town, any town."

  10. I’m guessing Cam Booser couldn’t have been substituted for Fajardo in this trade. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  11. No more obvious proof that the Red Sox were probably the other finalist for Murakami’s services. That’s a good sign at least.
  12. Took Ohtani early in his 1st spring training to make an adjustment. Eric Hinske suggested a toe tap instead of the leg kick he had to improve timing , gain more barrrel control, and contact out in front of the plate.
  13. Yeah, where was his early post saying that Murakami was signing with the Sox? Bartolo’s Bunghole is a waste of typed words.
  14. The Sox usually manage to waste three roster spots on replacement level 33 years olds out of 17 million per. This is better, obviously. I get doubting ownership and management but in isolation this is a great use of limited resources.
  15. They were saying the flip to Goff was the touchdown I think. Because yea he came nowhere near crossing the pylon. It was a truly brutal referee explanation to end a game 😂
  16. Bears are in the playoffs...amazing. As far as I'm concerned anything over and above this is gravy. https://chicago.suntimes.com/bears/2025/12/21/bears-make-playoffs-for-first-time-since-2020-as-aaron-rodgers-leads-steelers-to-29-24-win-over-lions
  17. Red Sox to Getz, be like: you could of had a bad b****, noncommittal, I could have helped your roster, just a little
  18. Trading Robert at this point would kill a lot of the good will of signing Murakami.
  19. Yeah, this was a perfect storm in that the red flags were very red and teams wanting to compete couldn't afford the downside risk, meanwhile the downside risk for the Sox is just him being another bum fitting in with the guys. Meanwhile, if he overcomes the swing and miss and sits near the same levels in the states then you got a player who has some value.
  20. Zero clue why they’d act like he had a TD when he was ran back 5 yards but I’ll take the playoffs!!!!
  21. Today
  22. Anyone know why theres a big drone show over the stadium right now
