Thought this was a joke edit, but it's real. Someone at Google actually coded a little 💯 animation when you search Mune's name.

2027 Rotation
I don't think Fedde will break the bank so I'd bring him back. Not a starter, but I think Newcomb will cost too much to retain. That money being spent on Castillo is annoying as hell

We definitely match up better against the Rays because of starting pitching. Rasmussen is obviously really good, but we've shown we can hit Martinez and Jax. Schlittler is the best pitcher in the AL, we've always had our issues against Cole, and the depth of the Yankees starters is better than Tampa.

2027 Rotation
I think you have at least 3/5 or an acceptable rotation in Burke, Martin, and Kay. Maybe you get Fedde back next year to be the 5th starter, but you really can't count on Castillo next year so they need to at least spend some money on a middle of the rotation option in free agency.

Rooting for the Rays. I'm dreaming big and just think we have a better shot to beat Tampa than the Yankees. Although honestly I'm over the moon if we just get to the ALCS

2027 Rotation
Hopefully, a deep playoff run forces ownership to spend on a good starter, a good closer, and a good right handed bat.

Pitch speeds and EVs are pretty precise, I've never seen either be off after the fact. They are raw measurements. You see distances be wrong sometimes because if Statcast can't fully track the flight path then they fill the gap with a projection based on those raw measurements that make assumptions about the environment that can end up not reflecting the real world (wind, temperature, humidity, etc.).

2027 Rotation
Gotta get 800 innings from 7 'starters.' Meaning the five opening starters and two other qho fill in for injuries. If they were in this situation and the pen was less burnt, it would be great. Would also like to have one real starter for playoffs.

Martinez has been pretty good in the outfield on defense this year. It ended up not really mattering and maybe it affects how much Taylor can pitch on Monday. I expect him to be available in a shorter outing. 40 pitches isn't some crazy workload for him.

What are the odds that statcast is wrong on the exit velo? We see it get distances wrong sometimes, but if it was somehow 5 or 10 MPH off on the exit velo? Because 96 EV at 31 degrees averages about 365 feet, which is almost exactly how far that ball went today.

Was amazed Martinez actually caught it with how bad he's been this year...wind picked the exact wrong time to turn, but close game forced Venable to stick with Taylor. It's 5-0, no idea what happens with Newcomb Schultz Davis etc., in there.

Getz will still be hyping Castillo as being in the best shape of his lifetime coming into ST.

Munemania: Rated 100/10
Translated from Japanese ·Baseball and Brands Breaking the ring of smart toilets: Since Murakami proposed the installation of a "Japanese-style smart toilet (Bidet)" when he first joined the White Sox lounge, this lifelike request directly led to the first sponsorship cooperation between a world-renowned bathroom brand and a major league team. The White Sox even launched their "first hit smart toilet shaker doll anniversary" to fully utilize their commercial capabilities. Surroundings and dining frenzy: Local vendors and stadiums in Chicago have launched Japanese-style "Mune Mania hot dogs," Japanese rice lager beer, and exclusive T-shirts with the words "Mune Mania." In a post-match interview, he said, "I am Japanese! I am Japanese!" It has become a popular meme among fans. Whether it's the stadium on the south side of Chicago or in Tokyo, Japan, across the ocean, countless fans are watching his performance every morning. This cross-cultural "Mune Mania" once again proves the strong spiritual bond that baseball has across countries.

Wind clearly played a bigger factor than everyone first thought. A lot of those fly ball today went way shorter than the fielder first thought off the bat.

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
The vast majority of NFL teams play in publicly-owned stadiums. They tend to have deals in place to make them “primary tenant” or something of the sort, which gives them near-absolute control for scheduling, a cut for non-NFL events’ revenue, the ability to sell naming rights for sponsorship, etc. This would be similar to their current situation at Soldier Field, except a) their landlord wouldn’t be the Chicago Park District but rather a stadium authority created specifically for the Bears b) they would have priority for scheduling events (no tearing up of the field ahead of a home game) c) they would still stand to make much more money than they currently do at SF, even if they don’t own the stadium.
