8/22 GT Sox/Mets, 6:10. Jump on the momentum
Unfortunately, the White Sox turned a waste of money in Dominqwez into a bigger waste of money.

Is It Time To Call Up Bonemer?
A waste of talent in left. No way

8/22 GT Sox/Mets, 6:10. Jump on the momentum
Guardians got swept by these same Mets not long ago. I think I am more worried about Minnesota. Those 6 games against them will be huge.
-
Is It Time To Call Up Bonemer?
That’s should be the plan, we need power in the outfield corners and Bonemer would be a good start.

Is It Time To Call Up Bonemer?
It seems like Bonemer is hitting a homer every day, he is up to 33.

Benintendi batted 3 times with the bases loaded and plated 1 run. I know the pitching staff is in shambles right now but too often our Sox just don't hit. Play a little more small ball. Tack on runs even one at a time. Mune strikes out too much.

We had multiple chances to pull ahead in this game but couldn’t get the timely hits. It didn’t help that Kolson and Mune each had 4 Ks. 84 wins probably takes the division, the Sox have basically been a .500 team since the break but with the starting pitching a couple of arms short it might be hard to get to 84 wins, we can’t expect 4 or 5 homers every game, we need some starters to really step it up, maybe Martin can get it back on his return.

2026 MLB Catch All (Non Sox, Non AL Central)
Tatis, Jr. has been worth 25 fWAR the first five years of his 13 year deal. Still has 28-31 when he should still be in his prime, and then the last four years will look more like Machado and Bogaerts. Still, if you go by that one fWAR=$8 million of production, he has been worth $200 million already...and only needs to produce 16 more fWAR or 2/season. Hard to imagine he won't accomplish that before age 31 season is over, alone...completely disregarding the four years on the back end.

Brooke’s father is Scott Fletcher, ex MLB SS and 2B. Gordon Beckham is her brother in law. Her husband is playing for the Padres. Quite a baseball family. She was also Miss Georgia 2015.

So could the Guardians

8/22 GT Sox/Mets, 6:10. Jump on the momentum
Royals could be on a 4 game losing streak by next weekend. We need some help with how hot and cold we have been
-
8/22 GT Sox/Mets, 6:10. Jump on the momentum
Not sure about that. They are getting the Royals next weekend who are on a 7 game winning streak. Angels have also been better as of late.

Damn the Guardians schedule is easy.

A fan posted this at another Sox web site. The numbers don't lie: "Castillo's White Sox numbers after 4 starts: 5.89 ERA, 1.53 WHIP. And that was WITH 7 innings of shutout, 1 hit ball. So he's been complete DFA level crap for 3 of 4 starts, and they're on the hook to pay him 22 million next year. Getz is a genius." Well...could Castillo turn into James Shields version 2.0?

“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
Considering all the hoops they need to go through to make a new stadium a reality, not to mention the ownership succession process that might not possibly happen until 2034.....honestly, if they get a new stadium opened in time for the 2033 All-Star Game, IMO that would be a huge success for Jerry and Ishbia. A stadium isn't even the first thing slated for the Amtrak property - the Northwestern medical research campus is. We might not see a stadium open in the South Loop until 2035 or 2036.

From the Sun-Times recap tonight: "Castillo will be around longer and figure much more into how this season plays out. If he can recapture some of the form that made him a three-time All-Star, the Sox could have something. If not, then the rotation will still be short." https://chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox/2026/08/22/luis-castillo-struggles-again-luis-robert-jr-hits-two-home-runs-in-white-sox-10-5-loss-to-mets

All you can do is look at the results and they have not been good to say the least. Can they get better? Sure. Getz, the organization and the fan base damn well better hope so. A division title may be riding on it because the pitching staff is short handed and running on fumes.

It amazes me that you think everyone but Ishbia is a gullible idiot, just waiting to be taken advantage of by the greedy billionaire, including the greedy billionaire he is already in business with to get all of th8s done.

He is irreparably butthurt by the Sox letting Benetti go. I honestly think that's the reason.
