Bingo. Hopefully Getz trades and keeps the right assets.

Schultz to the bullpen as he nears his innings limit?
Hot take - Sandlin has a higher ceiling than Schultz at this point.
-
White Sox optioned Junior Perez
think you guys are saying the same thing. he just needs to showcase he's healthy. someone will take a flier on him as a trade piece if so. Sox should be willing to throw in his remaining pro rated salary.

Schultz to the bullpen as he nears his innings limit?
- White Sox optioned Junior Perez
He’s got enough of a track record. 1 or 2 good games isn’t going to make any difference. Teams can go see that he’s healthy in Charlotte.- White Sox optioned Junior Perez
Or until one of them gets hurt again.- White Sox optioned Junior Perez
Looks like Hays will be showcasing in AAA for the next week.- Schultz to the bullpen as he nears his innings limit?
I'm not sure he's going to be a stud but they clearly need to work on his delivery. If it's giving him chronic knee pain at 29th percentile extension, at his size, something needs to change. I don't think he's going to be a stud; I don't see the TOR talent, but certainly 3rd or 4th starter. One big problem for him is that (granted small sample size) lefties having a .358 wOBA against him. He gets no platoon advantage, as a LHP that's not great, Bob. I'd rather he go down and work on things in AAA. I think Sandlin gives us more of a chance to win now. Or, if they think someone else can of the candidates, I'd rather them come up.- Trade Ideas/Rumors/Proposals Thread
But I hate his face- Trade Ideas/Rumors/Proposals Thread
Would be very supportive of this move.- Schultz to the bullpen as he nears his innings limit?
It feels like they made changes recently in an effort to improve command - it has come at a cost of "stuff" - but I also wonder if they view it as they can re-unlock that easier, so from a development perspective repeatability / command was priority. As a result, Noah's in the tough spot of actively working on mechanical and development changes at the big league level (as a young pitcher). I think the key is Sox have to manage his "psyche" well and I feel that is a very underrated area where Venable has excelled. I keep reminding myself - Schultz is going to be a stud in the long-run - but in the short run there is more work to do and some of that is going to require a step back. That said, I'd love to see a game where he's just off the charts electric (we saw some of that when he first came up - where the stuff stood out - despite the challenges with command.- White Sox optioned Junior Perez

Thinking about all the pitches Luke fouled off to get those walks. Cost the club a fortune.- Schultz to the bullpen as he nears his innings limit?
team has not yet had a serious losing streak- Your First Place Chicago White Sox vs. The NY Yankers 6:40 CT
Hopefully the weather is good at game time. Some huge storms going through the area now and some more expected later today.- Schultz to the bullpen as he nears his innings limit?
I doubt it's much more than that after 73 last year and 88 the year prior. Maybe 110?Today
- At what point do we start to believe?
86 wins definitely nets us a playoff spot. I think our success in the playoffs is linked with some form of home field advantage.- Schultz to the bullpen as he nears his innings limit?
What do you think his innings limit is? It can’t be only 100, right?- Your First Place Chicago White Sox vs. The NY Yankers 6:40 CT
Feels like the first big, old school blockbuster series of the year with two of the best teams in the AL. Gonna feel like the ALCS.- Your First Place Chicago White Sox vs. The NY Yankers 6:40 CT
Tonight could determine if Schultz is going to stay on the big league roster. Important game for the kid.- At what point do we start to believe?
8th in fWAR for position players at 14.5. 10th in wRC+ and 7th in xWOBA. So maybe a little bad BABIP luck last month. Defense has slumped the last month, back to -12.5 runs below average. Vargas and Colson the main culprits there. 17th in fWAR for pitching. We have moved up slightly in FIP, at 18th as well. I don't really rate xFIP anymore but we are 21st if you think it filters out some batted ball luck. So yea, a .530 team feels fair. We need to get Colson playing like an All Star again and get Mune heated up to make a push for 88 wins.- Your First Place Chicago White Sox vs. The NY Yankers 6:40 CT
Will we see another Strokin Sox offensive explosion ( Mune Style )? Will Noah Schultz shock the world and shove? Tune in on your bat phone, transistor radio, tube television, or from your seat in the park! LETS FUCKING GO WHITE SOX!!! WIN DIS DING!!!- Schultz to the bullpen as he nears his innings limit?
I agree. They have put him in a tough spot trying to learn on the job at the highest level in the middle of a divisional race. But part of that is because of the situation the Sox put themselves in and were a victim of, namely a lack of quality, healthy pitching at a lot of levels and in roster acquisition.- Munemania: He has power
Thanks, that makes sense. I'd def do a shrimp roll. On a related note, salmon skin really is the bacon of the sea. Surprisingly good as a roll.- Schultz to the bullpen as he nears his innings limit?
It's a great question. They've totally changed who Schultz is. He's throwing 6 pitches with a higher slot and he's got too many voices. I believe a simplification is coming. - White Sox optioned Junior Perez
