Detroit makes me a tad nervous. They swept us last series in Detroit. We’ll see how our Sox fare against them on their turf again this coming weekend.

The 2024 White Sox run differential was -306. If you remove every single win in the 2026 White Sox season and only count the losses, their run differential is -205.

Great job Bonemer. I told that Panic King that the Sox would rebound with 2 of 3 from Cleveland. He never learns. Can't just enjoy an unexpectedly good season . Sox are in as good of a position as they have been all season because the division sucks and its the Sox division for the taking if they just continue to beat division opponents. Only 2 of the starting pitchers traded at the deadline won their 1st game , Gausman and Dustin May everyone else either lost of was a no decision.

Romo as starting catcher is analogous to the Sox getting a red card in a soccer game and having to play a man short.

Urquidy only went 2 innings today on 27 pitches. Should we be reading into that? Will he be making a start for the Sox this week?

So what? It's good to have good hitters. And currently he is still catching. We traded him for a bad pitcher. It was a dumb ass trade.

Hope that our next manager will be a successful, experienced MLB manager, not a first time unproven manager like Ventura, Grifol and Venable.

Going to the game on Tuesday and my lucky green Sox cap with the shamrock will be riding a 2 game win streak since I pulled it out yesterday.

Reminiscent of the cubs team a few years ago that didn't come close to making the playoffs despite great run differential. Bullpen meltdowns have been a big problem for the tigers.

86-87 wins feels about right for this team. Will easily get them a first round bye. Tigers will sneak in the third wild card spot with 82 wins lol.

The 8th was 5, 6, 7. Seven got a hit so 8 batted thus 9, 1, 2 in the 9th

The Tigers have a great run differential despite a bad record which is usually a good indicator of positive things to come for the rest of the year but I wonder how losing Skubal and Mize will affect that. Nothing is going to get handed to us, we need to keep winning series especially against weak teams like the Reds.

Looking at the schedule, I'd pick 25-19, rest of the way. No sweeps, winning the home series, losing most of the road series. The Tigers are going to be tough. We have 7 left against them, so we kind of control our own destiny.

Hagen Smith really needs something. He reminds me of Kopech. Weird mechanics, wild as hell. Hard to believe we have a shot at a playoff bye.

I think he was hoping that they would be able to tack on insurance runs in the later innings so the end of the game would be more of a mop up situation than high leverage. Didn’t play out like that but thankfully it worked out anyway.
