  1. Past hour
  2. That's another good shout.
  3. Seems to be more popular than you thought haha. But I completely agree as well.
  4. Talk about premature. Crochet is fragile AF. Let's see him actually pitch and be effective. It's why I was OK with not extending him early.
  5. Skubal then defeats the Tigers in the World Series
  6. How is Boston Smith’s defense behind the plate?
  7. Why tf would the Angels get top prospects here. lol
  8. Rookie ball? Is he hurt?
  9. With what is potentially about to happen with guys from the 60 day IL, we aren't adding another catcher to the 40.
  10. We don't even know what exactly is hurt, and we are already firing people. That's quality work.
  11. Roch is a different player with another set of conditioning and diet regimes. But you are right in terms of strength conditioning not having much of a downside. Like anything else though, moderation is the key. Teel gained 20 pounds in just one off-season, partially by his own admission, by increasing his caloric intake, including subs at his Godfather's deli. Maybe too much of a good thing too fast. I had a Godfather deli sandwich from Ambrosino's in Frankfort and had them cut it in half so I could eat the rest later. I'd like to try a KT sandwich at Parkwood Deli.
  12. Today
  13. I agree. If anything, maybe a RHH backup that doesn't cost much.
  14. Pretty healthy kid though. They talk about his leg strength being in the 90th percentile of ML players. It would be very surprising if there was a downside to that
  15. That's one of the comments that came up about Cholowsky on draft day. How he's so into weight training and conditioning, seemingly at the behest of his father. "Cholowsky’s father, Dan, attended Cal before being selected in the first round (39th overall) of the 1991 MLB Draft by the Cardinals. He played eight years of professional ball before becoming a Major League scout. Roch often joined his father on scouting trips, soaking up lessons that went well beyond the box score."
  16. When they do the Double Dutch, that’s them dancin
  17. Karl Ravech is expected to be laid off by ESPN after more than 30 years at the network, sources told Front Office Sports. An ESPN spokesperson declined to comment. Ravech joined ESPN as an anchor in 1993 and was a longtime host of SportsCenter and Baseball Tonight. He eventually pivoted to play-by-play and served as the lead caller of the Sunday Night Baseball franchise from 2022-2025. He also called the Little League World Series for ESPN
  18. Do we see more injuries? I’d be interested in data. That was always just the pitcher’s lament in years past I don’t know man. There’s some big boys out there playing baseball. It doesn’t sound from outside appearances like Teel would be a type to go against what trainers are telling him about preparation and rehab
  19. Prospect #84 Ninth-round choice in 2022, University of Arkansas catcher Michael Turner, is an older prospect, but brings a solid set of skills to the White Sox: solid lefty bat, good defense, receiving and arm. Turner is also a "bit of a hoss," so there could be some James McCann upside.
  20. McGuire/M.Maldonado come on down.
  21. Even if Teel is going to miss significant time, I'm not sure the Sox should trade for a catcher, unless it's a very cheap rental. Starting pitching and a bullpen arm have to be the priorities.
  22. BamaDoc replied to kwill's topic in FutureSox Board
I’ve wondered about Turner getting a shot. Need a 40 man but could drop Romo or something
  23. Or make a big splash and get Langeliers and Ginn from OakSacVegas.
