  1. Today
  2. Oops. I missed this thread, so I'll say "Merry Christmas Bedford Falls." "And Happy New Year to You ... in Jail!" Kudos to all Chicagoans on the South Side who put up Christmas decorations. Nobody in American respects Christmas cheer as well as Chicagoans and their beautiful outside lights. Let's hope the New Year is special and love is the only four-letter word we need to utter all of 2026. GO SOX. GO BEARS. GO CHICAGO HOT DOGS AND ITALIAN BEEF AND BAR PIZZA! Happy NY baby!
  3. I’m sure there may have been outliers who had questions, were more comfortable trading down. The trick is to not be a sheep, and be the exceptional GM, not “the entire NFL”
  4. C’mon Ray Ray. I love your posts and I am usually the negative Nancy, but for once the Sox got the #1 pick with 27% odds in a draft with what looks like a consensus superstar. We should all be creaming our pants. It also makes it so the Sox can’t really f*** up their pick.
  5. Ryan Pace was the fuckup. He didn’t even interview Mahomes or Watson.
  6. Very much disagree here. It also just seems unnecessary. The entire NFL would’ve taken Caleb Williams at #1.
  7. What did Santos sign on with SF to do? I thought he was going to be a mainstay in our ranks.
  8. Moncada had a solid 2025 - how does one define that? He played in 30 games?
  9. Obviously you weren't keeping Ben over Campbell....BUTTTTTT...
  10. Plus he was another one who the minions scurried out to talk about how lazy he was after he left.
  11. Or this reporter is doing a solid for Yoan by listing teams with bad 3Bs to try to create interest
  12. Yesterday
  13. $86M contract? Too rich for our blood. It could go up to $131M? That's getting close to double the Sox biggest contract ever! Hopefully by the time the option year rolls around for this Soderstrom deal where it might surpass the $100M mark, the Sox will be under new ownership and we fans won't be staring in awe at some other team's $131M contract.
  14. That the consensus #1 on 12/26/25 wasn't the consensus #1 on 12/26/24 is an odd thing to fixate on imo.
  15. There’s no way in hell. He came back from injury late in 2024 and they wouldn’t even play him.
  16. Pretty sure I recall him getting booed last time he came to the park
  17. Maybe, just maybe, the White Sox would like to show interest to get him to talk about his conditioning now compared to all the times he was injured, then when he opens up, they have evidence to sue him for his salary.
  18. Certain matchups against RHP potentially at 3B/DH, but there is so much history/baggage with him that I can’t possibly see them actually bringing him back.
  19. This makes me think he has made up everything. There is no fucking chance. Even if he left on good terms and was healthy where the hell would he play?
  20. With all dude respect, what the actual f*** are you blathering on about? There is one literally from yesterday, right on the front of the main board. One of those pops up just about every year.
