@Chicago White Sox will be holding a wake at his house at 4 pm, if you want to pay your respects for the club's loss of Imai. Coffee and pastries will be provided.

Miami upsets Ohio State, 24-14. We FUCKIN! f*** Ohio St. f*** their tainted* bullshit garbage 2002 "title". f*** Clarett. f*** Krenzel! f*** Tressel! f*** Terry Porter and his garbage flag. He fucking ruined Glenn Sharpe's life. There have only been two times in my life when I was physically ill after a football game and that was one of them. I have been waiting since January 3rd 2003 for that fucking program to burn. Ohio State...from hell's heart I stab at thee. We Back. We FUCKIN. Go Canes! Hit. Stick. Bust Dick! Oh and f*** @caulfield12 for saying we would get destroyed. -

Ohio State cuts the Miami leads to just 3 and the Buckeyes have all the momentum early in the 4th. I highly doubt we can hold them off without forcing a big turnover. -

Miami leads Ohio State 17-7 at the end of the 3rd. Come on....one more solid quarter to hold them off Canes. Ohio St is driving deep in Miami territory and generally have looked much better this half so I have my doubts if we can hold them off here. Either way I am proud of the team. Hit. Stick. Bust Dick! Come on Canes! -

Miami leads Ohio State 14-0 at the half. Our DL is eating Ohio State's OL alive. Great job, Canes. Keep fighting for another half you can do it. -
If it really happens then Ishbia is basically the shadow owner who is really in charge now and making the decisions and basically bankrolling everything and this whole waiting until 2029 thing is basically just legal formalities on paper only.
-
Wow I didn't know we were already that high....I would have thought maybe around 70 flat....did they take into account Schultz or Smith? If we are at 76.5 before Imai...we aren't far off.
-
If we are trying to be reasonably competitive this year, maybe we should just keep him as he will be better, even in 100 games than whoever is likely to be the replacement. If we don't care about winning this year, I'd just take Petty straight up for Robert plus like 8m or so pitched in. I don't think endlessly haggling for this pick and minor league corner OF (if reports from questionable sources are true) is really worth it if in fact the market is that bad. I realize there is still alot of time left in the offseason, but at some point other teams will address needs elsewhere and then we will get screwed again. I don't think Getz is going to get one over on Stearns either, they can easily write a check to solve any problem.

Is “The 78” Dead? Or even more alive? Fire announce plans for SSS

The market is the market at the end of the day. They got a better deal and they took it which is a rational decision, so as much as i despise the Chiefs, it was the proper move. The public or their elected representatives have to make that cost/benefit analysis. The taxpayers rarely come out ahead but there's only 32 of these teams out there and these communities have to decide how much or how little they value having one. Thankfully, the owners of my NFL team are rich enough with all that Walmart money that they are just writing a 2-4 billion dollar check for the new stadium on a private basis and not asking the public to pitch in. -
If NBB says it isn't happening then it isn't happening. I wish he would also tell us what's going on with Robert and the extent to which we will be otherwise active in the SP market aside from getting some #4 type SP in a Robert trade.
-
Given that we are dealing with two tight fisted cheap franchises, I won't be surprised if we remain in a staring contest for the rest of the offseason just like last year. Sigh...
-
If we really are trying to win, it doesn't make sense to trade Robert for 30 cents on the dollar.
-
If we get him, it means Ishbia is basically doing the spending and we probably have a much more liberal budget than something south of 100m.
-
Krall just trying to create some leverage. Getz isn't going to get Petty, the OFer and the pick regardless, especially from a low cash flow team that can't afford to write checks to solve problems.
-
So then Quero has to get moved then, right?
-
Hamstring is much better than knee...although hammy can linger. You guys prolly should sit him out next week.
-
That's a rough draw for Chicago either way (assuming Love is healthy). The Rams are probably the best all around team in the league.
-
Hopefully Burden is ok for you guys. Looks like a fun player.
-
That was a great game. Shanny Jr. is my favorite coach in the league. I hope he comes home at some point in the next few years.
-
JR isn't going to eat all the money for nothing. If you're gonna throw away a quarter anyway, might as well put it in a slot machine. It's one thing to trade him away for like half the salary because you are still saving 7.5m that way, but they aren't cutting him for nothing.
-
Yeah but the thing is even if you believe that report that's what the Sox wanted but the Reds refused to go that far, understandably so.
-
Get something fucking accomplished already. It shouldn't be this hard to get a useful piece if we are putting in half the money. I'm looking at NYM prospects right now and assuming Tong and Sproat wouldn't be in the deal, it's ugly if we are looking at pitching. PIT may be a better fit.
-
Jimmy, any idea about what the specifics of the Reds offer was? I'd be pissed if they offered Petty and we responded with unrealistic counters like we reportedly did with the NYM before the deadline.

Denver Broncos AFC West Champions...first time since 2015! Thanks for the assist, Houston!
