Since we are apparently willing to take on money for like the first time ever, I'd rather just get Ray from SFG and Torrens from NYM. I think the BP is in ok shape especially with the possibility of Schultz/Smith etc being moved there.

That was an awesome comeback to tie it and then Quero wins it in the 12th. Sox back up to 1.5 games over Cleveland.

Great to get back on the winning track and to take advantage of Cleveland losing again. 1st place by 2.5 games. Mune and Vargas back to hitting bombs and great D by Braden. Oh....and f*** those trash can banging cheating Astros.

I was surprised he came in too early....he's prolly done after 2 innings...he should be the full time closer. He's already close to 30 pitches so maybe Newcomb in the 9th

2B may be his home long term.

Beni's contract is up after next year and the situation with Murakami is unclear long term. He can fit at 1B/DH or possibly even at 2B long term if they move Meidroth for cost controlled pitching at some point.

He will need more than just a return of low 90s velocity. He needs another tick or two on the radar gun otherwise his margin for error is slim. It also remains to be seen if his command and the elite changeup remain intact. Sometimes after TJS, some pitchers gain a bit of velocity. If he can get up to 92-95 instead of 89-92, it would be very helpful.

Good news on Teel all things considered. Even if he is out a month or a little more, he will be back for the stretch run in September.
