I hope they dont rush braden up. He alone could be the most important piece to the outfield rebuild and there is zero reason to start his clock until next season. They are still another center fielder away though from having some stability

I am going to watch very few games...but the ones I do will be young starters, call-ups and late inning replacements for that very reason. Need hope or this is a completely lost cause until Jerry sells or dies.

I am very interested to see where Teel ends up. i think Teel, Quero and could be a real good 1B, DH, C rotation, but interested to see whom sticks at 1st with Andrew most likely playing his last year with the team (I think he get's flipped for a weak prospect this summer). How this team doesn't have a real 1B prospect is just incredible. Elko, Wolkow don't seem like major league players.

I have a die-hard Mets fan friend. His comment upon the news "it's not my money....weeeee". If you aren't a Dodgers or Mets fan, your chance of signing a marquee free agent has to be below 10%. This league is broken and honestly makes it so much easier to just let go being a Sox fan. Until Jerry dies there is zero point to even care.

that is the thing about Benintendi....he doesn't have power...but he SHOULD be a .275/.340 guy every year based on his swing and body type. But Sox have either tinkered with his swing too much or the bad has rubbed off on him. Was it a bad contract...yep. Should he suck as much as he did first 3 months...nah.
