  1. Don't even think he had to jump really. It's tough when you hit the wall at the same time though.
  2. Well he's been about as good as possibly for a reliever for 3 years so I'd say his performance does match.
  3. Every year with this..you realize the pitchers decide what they throw, right?
  4. Hit off the wall before it hit his glove. No doubt about it.
  5. I get it, and Haase is a poor off speed hitter, but hendriks best pitch is his fastball by a wide margin and while the slider is effective, there's nothing odd about him throwing a lot of fastballs in a row.
  6. There goes that year of service time! Over the left field wall
  7. Look at the bright side, if kimbrel was here he'd have come.in and we'd be losing instead of tied
  8. The pitch call was exactly correct. You're not trying to throw an off speed pitch to a guy who has off speed bat speed at this point.
  9. Giolito threw 80 pitches his last spring start lol
  10. 61 pitches. Jfc. I hate the way arms are managed today. You wanna keep him south of 80, fine. But 61? Give me a break

  12. Looked like schoop was up the middle there.
  13. Jack saw that velocity on the first pitch and had a mini panic attack.
  14. Imagine having Vaughn up vs the lefty here... would be nice.
  15. Yaz in the lineup so everyone takes pitches. Hidden value.
  16. Wow, Pollock sucks. Wish we still had Kimbrel.
