Aaron Judge Critical Of Donaldson's "Jackie" Comment
You realize part of the reason baseball doesn't appeal to young black kids is because of marketing and how the game has gate keepers like this moron: Meanwhile, basketball and football market and appeal to young black kids and also go well above and beyond regarding access and cost. Also, we need not look any further than Jackie Robinson West to know that the treatment of black kids in little league/travel baseball is no where near equal to that of the treatment of all white kids/teams. Unless you think it's just a massive coincidence that the one out of district recruiting forfeiture happened to take place in a poor black led community team. Baseball is an expensive game (equipment and etc) and access to fields and places to play are not prevalent in lower income communities/inner cities. Participation has waned because of the lack of access and the total disregard of the black community. Baseball knows it. The White Sox know it. You... I guess don't.

Best Starting Rotation in MLB
Of course they help you throw harder. They build muscle mass and allow you to work out with greater frequency by increasing your recovery time dramatically.

Josh Donaldson suspended 1 game for comments toward TA
I think they know that Tim isn't going to say anything and isn't going to push for a suspension, especially not publically. I view this as them speaking for him while allowing him to stay quiet.

Best Starting Rotation in MLB
I got no issues if Johnny wanted to pop a few flinstone vitamins to get his body refreshed at his old age; I was just saying it feels more possible than other things brought up by GL.

Best Starting Rotation in MLB
The Dodgers are up there? With Kershaw and Heaney (who stinks) on the IL, the Dodgers don't even have 5 starters on their big league roster right now.

Best Starting Rotation in MLB
My only possibly "cheating" thought with Cueto would be PED's; his Velo is higher than it's been in 6 years.

Best Starting Rotation in MLB
While I don't disagree with your entire premise, the Cease point is just wrong in my opinion. Cease has found command and learned to repeat his delivery. This guy is here to stay. His peripherals are actually better than his production. The guy is elite; barring a health set-back, I have no reservations there. Cueto could be smoke and mirrors although his velocity has been pretty shocking. Every rotation in baseball could have these pessimistic outlooks for guys; heck, the Brewers who were brought up in this thread have Lauer with one good month, Peralta who has been up and down and has durability concerns with innings growth, and Houser is just a guy; nothing to write home about. I think the Sox have a very good argument for best rotation in baseball; they had one last year and with Kopech sliding in for Rodon there hasn't been much of a step backwards despite Lynn being out.

I always take the dog out when foster comes in the game because I know it's ez pz

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
I think they're just misclassing this pitch. His tight slider at 87ish is still there. His change-slurve has changed a bit.

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
Idk about bias, just thought it was weird AF that an announcer was excited for a perfect game to end.

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
Ravech was like excited the perfect game was gone. Weird stuff.

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
What a stupid stat that was. Yes, he's not a reliever so his velocity and k rate should come down lol

Pollock the one guy I could understand resting with his injury history.

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
I think it's safe to say the league made a phone call this morning and made it clear that anderson and Donaldson shouldn't play in the same game today. So la russa claims trainers said he couldn't go two games. Basically tim gets a pseudo-one-game suspension because of Donaldson.

Guaranteed leury plays both games again...

Josh Donaldson called Tim Anderson "Jackie"
Only person who hates black people and denies racism more than Schilling is probably Whitlock.

Josh Donaldson called Tim Anderson "Jackie"
You can actually read Josh's lips when Grandal is going off on him... he basically keeps saying "I didn't say anything." He was going to deny it as much as he could but decided to own up to it at the end of the game.

Josh Donaldson called Tim Anderson "Jackie"
Hasn't fooled them. Half this board is supporting Donaldson for different reasons. True colors on full display tonight.

Josh Donaldson called Tim Anderson "Jackie"
I was just thinking.. man, what's an old white man like green line think about what tim anderson feels and thinks about being black in the current mlb game and culture. Surely he's an expert on this topic and understand the context and point better than that tim anderson guy

Our catchers combined batting average...
Is 3 points lower than TA's batting average. 346 to 343 That's not something you see everyday. Gotta hand it to em.

5/19 Sox @ Royals | 1:10PM CT | Velasquez vs Hernandez
I won't get over that one for a long time. If my coach tried to do that to me in college/high school I'd have ignored his stupid ass decision.

5/19 Sox @ Royals | 1:10PM CT | Velasquez vs Hernandez
I'm not really a fan of criticizing plays like that; these guys have internal clocks that we could never understand. He got him. That one was close but still, no different than the .2 seconds earlier.
