Steve Kwan doesn't strike me as a flash in the pan. They will be a team to be reckoned with. On the other hand...TLR just sucked the life out of our team. I have huge hopes for our new coaching staff and manager.

That feeling for me was achieved in game 2 of ALDS between Boston vs White Sox. That come from behind win was when fans actually started to believe that it was going to happen IMO. The stadium actually vibrated.

I have 67+ years of being a fan and use the same attitude as you outline in the comments. If the team sucks...find a couple of players to be interested in. Switching teams isn't really an option...so dreaming a little about the future is a necessity for baseball fans.

Yeah...how about a Go Fund Me page.

This take is probably the right way to look at it. Lots of us go to some ST games so who cares. If I'm Tony I stay far away but if it makes him and JR feel nice...I don't care. Is it dumb...yep...but JR marches to his own drummer.

Sorry to hear this...I liked him as a role player in a pinch.

Agreed! Our odds look very good. I particularly am excited about Pedro and staff...huge upgrade.

That M & M boys has a ring to it.

Obviously correct!!!

Lots of offseason still to go. Much more fun if you keep your optimism at a high level. When and if ST is over and the holes haven't been addressed...then you can really let off steam.?

My apologies. It sounded like you were endorsing the idea promoted by that ex-GM.

If I remember correctly, Gleybar was traded to the Yankees for a few months rental of a top reliever. Now our top reliever needs to be accompanied by a second piece to be attractive to the Yankees. Seems like some folks have a way of undervaluing our players while overlooking the flaws in players from the other organization.

Yep!

I am not interested in making a fair comparison trade for Liam. He plays an important role on our team. He is not easily expendable at all. If we trade him at all...it only makes sense if the acquiring team overpays for his services.

Excellent suggestion. He's a man of action for sure.

Well...he was smart enough to get rid of Tony.

NO!!!!

Leatherstockings golf course if that's your thing. Boat ride on Otesaga Lake is nice also. It's the area written about in James Fenimore Coopers...Last of the Mohicans. Nice trip!

Yep!!!

NO!!!!

We can always trade Liam for fair market value...holding out for overpay is absolutely essential.

Most of us are action junkies. We want to see A.C.T.I.O.N. Then we want to complain about the dumb moves that RH makes.

Rich guys shouldn't be allowed to buy anything on the cheap.

Benintendi is not an average player...carry on.

Madrigal will be coming home soon. Rejoice and be glad.
