Make up your mind. Madrigal is either worth nothing like so many forum members think or not. Kelly is S**t in my opinion, but others think he's ripe for this year. If Madrigal would have played for the Yankees...half this board would be clamoring for RH to pick him up.

All true. If it's me...I trade him for something like 2nd base or backup catcher. I realize he has great stuff but pitchers who can't find the plate are not my cup of tea.

I have no idea what is taking Hahn so long to get Madrigal back where he belongs. If the scouts and FO thought, he deserved to be drafted 4th overall in the country...surly he is good enough to play in front of Leury. It would also help me get over the stench of the Kimbrel disaster.

That feeling for me was achieved in game 2 of ALDS between Boston vs White Sox. That come from behind win was when fans actually started to believe that it was going to happen IMO. The stadium actually vibrated.

I have 67+ years of being a fan and use the same attitude as you outline in the comments. If the team sucks...find a couple of players to be interested in. Switching teams isn't really an option...so dreaming a little about the future is a necessity for baseball fans.

This take is probably the right way to look at it. Lots of us go to some ST games so who cares. If I'm Tony I stay far away but if it makes him and JR feel nice...I don't care. Is it dumb...yep...but JR marches to his own drummer.

If I remember correctly, Gleybar was traded to the Yankees for a few months rental of a top reliever. Now our top reliever needs to be accompanied by a second piece to be attractive to the Yankees. Seems like some folks have a way of undervaluing our players while overlooking the flaws in players from the other organization.

I am not interested in making a fair comparison trade for Liam. He plays an important role on our team. He is not easily expendable at all. If we trade him at all...it only makes sense if the acquiring team overpays for his services.
