4/6 Sox @ Tigers 12:40PM CT
Tauchman at least looks like he knows what he’s doing at the plate, which is refreshing in a lineup full of not that.

2025 MLB season...catch-all for non-Sox, non AL-Central
They can both be bad.

4/5 Game Thread Sox @ Tigers 1200 pm
I know it’s not true but it feels like every loss has been either 6-1 or 7-2. There will be soooooo many of these.

New City-Connects: Bulls / Sox collab
Nice to see more color in these round twos. For the Sox, I’d definitely prefer the dark one from the Reddit post, but I think the red can grow on me. Curious if the pants would be red or black. I like the pop of the Rockies one even though the font is terrible. I just don’t get the lack of creativity in general with most of the city connects.

Schriffen does it again...
I do too, just kinda odd that the guy whose job is literally to talk to thousands of people wouldn't be able to do it more clearly or succinctly.

4/1 Sox vs. Twins 6:40PM CT
Eh Benetti doesn't strike me as the schadenfreude type.

Schriffen does it again...
Woof. Just went I thought he was getting a little better by getting out of the way of the game. Come on man.

And that's a 9-0 White Sox winner!
Sure I think there's definitely something to the new manager bounce, but ultimately the lack of talent on the roster should keep them as a bottom 3 team.

And that's a 9-0 White Sox winner!
Yeah I don’t think we really learned anything about the team in these first few games. Even if they did this against better teams, that’s just baseball. It wouldn’t change my opinion that they’ll still be one of the three worst teams in the league. THAT BEING SAID, I’m not here to rain on any parades. If they can be a young, fun, bad team this year, I think that’s a huge step forward and a massive improvement over whatever the past couple years have been. So far, so good.

3/31 Sox vs. Twins 1:10PM
Something I’ve noticed on the broadcasts early on is Schriffen has clearly toned it down. But it’s almost to the point where he’s overly restrained. Not really a criticism because I think it’s cool he’s actively trying to get better, but just found it interesting.

Seeing the twins miserable never gets old.

White Sox tarp/rain and hail delay debacle makes national news...
Embarrassing for who? If you're the one that finds it embarrassing, then yeah, it does bother you.

BoSox/Devers
Yeah, that's why the Casas to Seattle for a SP chatter in the offseason was so interesting. Seemed like a great fit for both teams on paper.

I’m sorry this bothers you so much, but don’t worry, being sensitive is part of being human. Proud of both you and Sasaki for your willingness to be vulnerable.

The tarp stuff nor the Sasaki stuff is a big deal JFC

BoSox/Devers
I didn’t realize he’s already 28. I think he’ll still be an elite hitter for at least half that contract, but he’s already a full time DH with no real path back to the field, so he pretty much has to be an elite bat.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Vaughn is just so bad

That's an Opening Day Winner ‼️
Guys other than top prospects need developing too.

That's an Opening Day Winner ‼️
Fun win. Enjoy em when you can. Vargas and Sosa being dudes would be so huge. Yoan looked rounder than I remember.

Opening Day Angels/Sox 3/27...
Looking forward to Robert’s homer today.

Who are you most excited to watch this year?
I mean there's a difference between tanking for a high draft pick and just not being in a position to be competitive. I don't think they were necessarily tanking, but I don't think they were trying to be competitive either. I think they were trying to field a respectable enough team to play out the season while focusing mainly on the early stages of the teardown. That the team they put together ended up being the worst in history deserves every bit of criticism and ridicule it's gotten, but I don't subscribe to the notion that it happened while they were trying to actually compete.

Sox Claim P Mike Vasil
Definitely extends past blame and anger stuff. Just a very binary approach to things and lack of nuance in general. Anyway, get off my lawn.
