If the Selig rule is still in place, legitimate interviews should be conducted, and they should include candidates under the terms of the rule for manager, assistant GM and GM. I assume most teams actually take the time to conduct a legitimate interview process, to learn about others, learn about how other organizations conduct business, and perhaps improve their internal processes or at least consider improvement based on what they learned. Moncada may be finally healthy, and is hitting much better than at any time since before he was first injured in mid April (.889 OPS vs. .753 in August).
