  1. I'm convinced. We need a catcher for the next rebuild so TA for this guy and one or two more Dodgers prospects or MLB players, preferably a lefty pitcher.
  2. George Bell pouted a lot but u are right not as much as Anderson appears to pout.
  3. Timmy probably really is hurt. I wonder if deep down he's dying to get traded. He doesn't seem like he's Mr. White Sox now and forever but I could be mistaken of course. Don't want to throw out uninformed opinions and I certainly am uninformed in what TA's goals are.
  4. OMG I love me some Remillard. A bunt hit?? Are you serious? I wonder the last White Sox bunt single before Remy. And game tying and game winning singles?? A player actually cares to do the things it takes to win? I realize his current minor league body of work is not so good but thanks Remy for the win today. And I'll credit the bullpen for somehow doing what they did today. Good job. Drink some beers tonight. -- It's almost as if Remy is an alien who watched the Sox from afar and stuck a middle finger to the MLB hitters by bunting beautifully and actually hitting important SINGLES. It's like this guy is a real baseball player.
  5. After watching the last couple games no way I can watch Sox baseball today. Another first for me. Pukeathon. That said I'm not saying Sox can't win today minus me. Just.Win,Baby. Sox need a W.
  6. Very good point. He has no defensive ability. Surprised teams don't bunt on him more. Oh wait, bunts don't exist anymore.
  7. That's the stat of the night. Mind boggling. I can't believe I wasted hours watching so many strikeouts. So fricking boring. Do teenagers still hate baseball or are they back? Can't imagine young peeps with the computer games give baseball a chance on a given night. Soooo boring.
  8. That first pitch was absolutely a cookie. Very surprised he didn't rip it.
  9. Big burger looked more like a fish sandwich. Whiff. Horrible loss. Insanely bad baseball by the Sox except again by the starting pitcher. Sox CANNOT play and win modern baseball. It's that simple. Gonna take years to fix this IF Jerry brings in new GM. If current front office stays may not be fixed for a long long time.
  10. Losing five of six and six of eight at this stage of season: Bye bye manager
  11. Embarrassing. Whiff.
  12. Our guys can't run that hard. Hammies. Our guys hustle like that does not end well.
  13. And Alan Bannister.
  14. i take it back; nice stretch; u out.
  15. He's safe. Burger is not so talented.
  16. I always had a fave player I'd love/defend til this year. I have none. Not even close to a player I like on this team. Cease comes close to being likeable. Ditto Burger yet I realize Burger is horrific on D and all or nothing at the plate. My last fave player: Abreu of course.
  17. Burger is a somewhat loveable big oaf. TA is snakebit at best, doesn't care at worst. This is five losses in six games right? Wow. Sox are back to crud.
  18. Seriously why does TA stink? Remember looking at the box score every day and many many times TA with 2, 3 hits. Now he blows. Not sure he'll attract much in a trade. No power. Horrific pitch recognition, always been adequate but nothing special at SS. Yikes. Rite now he's a .250 hitter with zero power and no ability to draw walks. Other than that he's Luis Aparicio.
  19. You wait. Someday Home Run Derby will be added to baseball. That's all we see. HRs. Ho hum, Seattle leads 3-2 after a home run against a mediocre lefty guy.
  20. I purchased it for Lasso and have been keeping it for a while for Platonic. It's not Seinfeld but if u like Rogan and/or Byrne it's pretty good. I'd give it a 5.5 out of 10. Not bad comedy.
  21. My goodness. If he could hit 20 of those I wouldn't mind him that much. Nice job elevating Beni.
  22. Let Kopech finish this inning no matter what. Don't set some reliever give up the winning runs like last night. Banks will be bludgeoned so to speak.
  23. Smart to move the runners once in a while. Even though i want Burger at third, he's still a sub par fielder of course.
  24. It would help if the kid did something funny. Poor kid is just sitting there doing nothing,
  25. I musta missed it. Is Moncada out a long time? It's so obvious we'd be a much better team if he played 2B and Burger third and Sheets/Vaughn started getting as hot as Abreu used to get hot in warm weather months.
