That 10-game losing streak is/was so "White Sox." Thanks guys for basically ending the season before it got started. Now we have to endure the bitterly cold winter before Sox try to stay in the race for more than a month again.

So much bad about this loss. Four hits is disgusting. The no name pitcher we trotted out there stunk. Kelly's line is hilariously bad. He had seemed to be doing better. Getting boatraced by the Tigers, not hitting HRs on the road is a good reminder this team still blows. Overall if you look at the names of the guys who played and pitched today ... that's a lot of bad baseball players and pitchers. When our 'name' players don't hit (TA 0-4, Moncada 1-4) that's a recipe for a 7-3 loss to a bad team. p.s. Capt. obvious statement: Grandal has been lousy since he joined the Sox. I am not a fan. Today's performance by team in a big game: Solid F. Disgraceful

It's not my money but is Benintendi at all valuable to a team in this day and age? I'd think the advanced stat lovers despise him for the fact he may not hit a HR all year.

That's a great post. To field a contender Sox scouts had to pick the best 1B and 3B and make some trades. They won't pull the trigger on trades and it has hurt the franchise for sure.

OK folks, six runs on four hits and Sox win vs a Central team. Again. Nice. I hate to be the positive guy but Pedro appears to have the Sox playing better vs. the Central. This is big. Our former managers couldn't get that done. Folks, the Sox may still stink but this month has been pretty dandy. Call me a pollyanna fan but the gosh awful pitching has been way better and the hitters are somewhat hitterish. Baby, you gotta believe at times, Thanx Pedro for getting the guys to do a bit better vs, the Central. These teams suck and Sox can beat them. Thanx.

Very bad idea. Agreed. Sadly will have to platoon Burger in the DH/1B rotation cause our 3B is above average fielder and hitter in Moncada. Eloy is untradeable right now cause he's a walking injury so Eloy stays in outfield. Burger the 1B/DH thing.

Not true obviously. When you lose 10 in a row in April, something's wrong and we have no reasonable 'evidence' to think this club will ever win 7-10 in a row and get bak to .500. Sox fans are smart. At least the home crowds have stayed supportive and reasonable loud from what i see on mlb.tv game action.

I agree. That's why I was against the tank/rebuild. No guarantees at all in the MLB Draft. Losing to get a top draft pick is not a smart strategy when u have the draft history of the Chicago White Sox. Burger however is tasty.

Have you noticed this board has changed to where almost every post seems reasonable to sound to correct? Lot of good Sox takes on here most of them either correct IMO or close to correct. Whatever scout told the Sox to take Burger should get a raise. He definitely can hit. I know he's far from a complete player but he can hit and stands out on a team like this with a lot of horrid hitters. The Royals appear even worse team than the Sox by far. Nice win. If the pitching is this good I'll eat my words gladly about the bullpen. Still not a believer but the division is so bad mabe Sox can have one winning streak to negate that terrible losing streak while avoiding another 5 to 10 game losing streak. Another stretch like that and it's back to talking about one of the worst Sox teams in history. In summation: Not a believer, but nice win today.

I think we should support TA instead of tear into him a lot. Just my opinion. According to some reports he's playing hurt which we want Sox to do oft times rather than go on the DL regularly. Maybe he's headed back to the DL soon. I think we all know Anderson is a good baseball player. Personally I see no reason to bash him. There are plenty of villains. I don't think he's one of them. Just my opinion. I'm not a huge TA fan. I just recognize he's not the problem IMO. Why not try something diff and support him a few more months.
